Pool air leaks are often difficult to diagnose. Sean ruled out a couple of plumbing issues around pump and filter, then pressure tested both skimmer lines. It wasn't conclusive, but there was some loss of pressure in the skimmer lines. In the end, not losing pool water, the air bubbles i the returns are not enough on their own to dig up skimmer. I felt Sean gave good counsel on how to manage and not spend too much money before it was necessary.

Excellent! After having gone through several pool service companies and dealing with empty promises, no-shows and excuses, I found this company. I was shocked! They answer emails and have someone who answers the phone. They actually confirm appointments and show up when they say they're going to. They know what they're doing! They are pleasant and professional. They are a little more expensive than the other companies I have used, but they are well worth it!!

They were great, figured out pretty quickly that there was an air leak. They found a fitting that was missing the o-ring. Fixed it all up, quick and easy. Arrived on time too.

It was great - there were some minor problems with our in-ground pool pumping system which they troubleshooted and solved. Before they left they made sure to seal everything back up and showed us that the pump primed and was running properly.

We use them around memorial day weekend, we normally try to target that.

For closing, they charged us $250. I gave them an A because we had a really bad company before and that is why I switched to them. Everything is much better. For the previous company, when we closed, it was $800. Granted, they did more and gave us some chemicals but it was just a scary price. I gave them an A for price, I think they are reasonable for what they do. The quality is good. Punctuality is pretty good. For professionalism, I don't really see them and they don't normally need anybody home but I think it is probably good. They definitely do the work right because I can judge by the opening. The water is almost ready to use after they open and that is after the entire winter season. They will open up the pool, roll off the cover and treat the water to a point that it is almost ready to use, we just need to add in some chemicals. If they are closing, they will get the pool in a state that is safe and ready for winter. We have a lot of snow and it is very windy. Things are secured and they will change the filter, if anything is needed they will let us know. The pump stopped working and then the guy came in and cleaned up the pump. They did trouble shooting as well as repair. The price is definitely reasonable compared to what we have used before. When you call, it is not often at all that you get somebody on the phone but you leave a message and they return your message on time.

Last winter, we had a tarp over it because we didn't have our patio. The people who did the winterization could have done a better job. They didn't take the leads out of the pool. I wasn't happy with that. Their customer service is topnotch. The workers were fine.

Called Family Pools and 2 other service providers late the night before in desperation as my newly plastered pool was failing to circulate water and I was afraid the whole pool would be compromised.  Family Pools was the only provider to call me back the next morning.  Will was super patient as I explained everything that was going on and all the potential causes(from my perspective and with his thoughtful insight).  I told him I was at my wits end and needed serious help.  He concluded that I should start with my in ground floor cleaning hub, and told me that I could bring the part in and they would re-build it on the spot.  Beyond that he had thoughtful suggestions and could have scheduled a service technician if this did not work.  Low and behold it worked and our pool is running again!  I was grateful for the technician to take care of me so quick and just as impressed by Will's patience to listen to a new customer gripe and explain my problems in very fine detail!

The two young gentlemen they sent did a great job.  They were polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and quick.  They nicely answered all my annoying questions.  I  will be calling them to come back in the fall to winterize the pool.  I would recommend their service.

We've used them for 35 years.  The service and workers were terrific.  They were very prompt.  I use them every year and if anything goes wrong I call them first.

They are consistent, timely, do a great job, and stand by their work.  They are extremely prompt.

The two guys showed up right on time. Had them re-insert a vinyl pool liner in the track at two different spots. They charged 2.5 hours on the bill and were here for 3 hours. They had to take parts of the deck and side off the access it. They fixed one area well but at the other area they did not complete the work. I noticed it after they had left and collected my check. They did not mention anything about that upon leaving.

The service that Mike and his helper provided was outstanding.  They installed a light fixture for me in an hour and charged only $125.00.  They also threw in a couple of Parts and Pointers for FREE.  They did the same job that another Co. quoted me 4 times the price for.   In addition, they hauled two of my robots back to the shop for service.  It was a nightmare trying to find a Co. that services pool vacuums.  I am very pleased with Family Pool, and their service department is top notch, ALWAYS calls you back.  Stay tuned for a review on the vacuum service because this is a hard to come by ...........trust me.  Thank you Family Pool I am having my first good pool day this season!!!!

We used family pools to open, close and perform bi- weekly maintenance on our pool last summer. They were great. They came when they said they would and did exactly what they said they would at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

After having a very disappointing experience with one pool company and trying to contact two others with no response, we received Family Pools name from a friend of ours.







They called me back the same day - even though they could not come for 10 days because it is the busiest time of year - they were professional enough to call and set an appointment - big deal for me!!







I was given a four hour window and they came first thing - they were helpful, able to fix the issue - pump was fine - there were 6 leakes that had to be repaired.  They discovered that all our plugs had not been undone and they helped me set that up properly, as well as educate me on the way to backwash and add DE properly - above and beyond what was requested or paid for!







They were helpful and accomodating! I would recommend them to others as well.

They installed the pool, and they have serviced it every year.  They have been great.  They are perfect.  They are on time; they get the job done; they do it right; and they leave.

When the son-in-law of the owner took over, he was difficult to work with business-wise, so we stopped using them. We couldn't communicate with them and they wouldn't return calls.
