Work was not finished. After an initial promise of the work being completed in a few weeks, we had ladders on the house all winter and spring. During the work that was done, my children commented on all of the foul language, smoking and yelling. He showed up after 3 months of no contact and told me straight up that his guys were coming later to finish the job as he hauled all the ladders away. Still have felt instead of copper and there is a screwdriver sticking out the top of the roof.

We have used Christian Battle for about fifteen years for slate roof repairs and "tune-ups" after the winter. In addition to repair and slate replacement, he has done reflashing with copper around the vent pipe and reflashing with copper and lead around the chimney.
We also had him replace an asphalt porch roof.
He does excellent work and is enthusiastic about slate and copper. Our 90 year old roof is still doing fine.
