Peak Co Roofing

They had people come out to advise me that my roof and siding needed replacement post a hale storm in 2013. They completed the task though finish job was unsatisfactory. 6 years later in 2019 I had leakage and the owner of the company said warranty was up in 5 years, but also refused to show up to inspect the roof on to help me diagnose why it may be leaking. Does anyone want to deal with a company like this after spending $40+ K on roofing and siding? He indicated that the work was done via storm chasers under his company name (which now I understand he took a cut). For whatever way in which he does business, I see this as dishonesty and not taking responsibility. I've been advised by other contractors to sue Peak Co., as it took cut from the so called "Storm Chasers". I am contemplating this action right now.

They were an A++. My neighbors said the company also did a great job. They were on-time, quick, and thorough.

There were a few delays for the start of the work due to late completion of other scheduled jobs. However we were in no rush so it was not a problem.

Work was well done and well priced. Took several tries for roofers to come on an agreed upon day, only partially weather related.

This was a two days job. It is rather messy but they did their best to clean the ground at the end of the work. I would definitely recommend Carl to my neighbors.

When it became clear that our original roofer could not finish the job, winter was closing in so we had to act quickly.  I found Peak on Angie's List along with 2 or 3 other potential roofers.   I called Carl on a Saturday morning, he met us that afternoon to look at the work, and we agreed on Sunday to his proposal to complete the work.  Monday there was an ice storm, but Carl got a permit on Tuesday and his crew of 4 or 5 did the work on Wednesday.  All of this was during the week before Christmas. 

The roofers showed up on the agreed upon day, ten minutes early.  They were very nice and had good work habits.  They were very careful to protect my property with long nets from the roof to the ground while they removed the old roof.  They took 45 minutes for lunch which gave me a nice break from the noise.  They cleaned up with a magnetized sweeper constantly.  They had a trailer dumpster and the owner, Carl Hume took everything away the next day.   Carl helped me a lot in choosing the right shingle.  He also showed up for the first appointment on the agreed upon day. My new roof is performing well, looks good and I am very happy that I called Peak Roofing Co. My neighbor across the street used them also and they are very happy too. They did all this in one day.

Everything went well.  I contacted him mid-August and was anxious to have the roof done before our kitchen remodel started.  Carl wasn't sure exactly when he could start and he did finally let me know a few days before he started.  That is my only criticism, you may have to call him a few times to get an answer.   They did put a rubber roof on part of my roof that he said looked like it needed it based on the wear of the old roof at no extra charge.  They finished in 2 and 1/2 days and he walked around the house with me after finishing and did come back the next day to fix something I did not think looked right

They were a bit off in the estimated start date, however, he was responsive when I called him.  The house is an old victorian and has many little roof lines over porches and bays.  There were 5 guys working together and they provided good protection for the shrubs and grass areas.  They were also working in an area where there is a swimming pool.  Their clean up was efficient and timely.  The owner was on the job site and oversaw the operation at various stages.

They did an excellent job from start to finish.  They were courteous, on-time, and professional for both the estimate and the roofing, and were exactly within the estimate.  They were considerate of the side yard/garden and cleaned up their mess (roofing is very messy!) beautifully.  Sealing the top roof was a little outside of their usual work but they were willing to do it for us (we needed professionals with ladders as our top roof has no trapdoor) and were even very patient when we ran out of sealant and I had to run out and purchase more.  I highly recommend them.

Quick turnaround with bid. Some confusion over the chimney work - it wasn't included in the bid as we originally thought, but that was our oversight and not the fault of the contractor. Even with the chimney work being extra, he was still very competitive. They matched the old brick on the chimney. Great cleanup - we found less than 5 roofing nails on the ground afterwards.

The work was completed quickly. The clean-up was professional. The cost was as quoted with the exception of a couple of trim items that were not visible during the estimate

Carl came over to price out the roof work for our new porch and we asked him to give us a quote on replacing our front roof. His cost was reasonable and his availability suited our schedule. His crew did a good job, all work was done within the expected time frame and did a great job cleaning up.

They were polite, punctual, and straightforward -- the estimate was one of the lower ones we received for this job (if not *the* lowest), yet they were willing to guarantee the labor for 10 years, and rubber roof for the 30 year mfg. guarantee. Minimal overhead, experienced and polite work crews -- all in all, a great experience.

Carl was very responsive and professional. He was flexible with his schedule to accommodate our needs. He explained the job in detail. The work was very competitively priced - approx. 30% lower than major competitor. Work was done neatly and on time and budget. Clean up was great.
