Mike was very professional and polite.  He arrived early and got the work done efficiently.

The service that Mike provided was outstanding. He came to the house to clean and inspect both chimneys. He found a problem with the installation of the flue pipe connection to one of the stoves. He showed me the problem with the connection. He offered to fix it without an pressure to have him do it for me. He had the connection adapter in his van and resolved the problem in minutes. I will use him again for all related services.

I called Patriot Chimney on a Monday and they showed up at my house the very next day, on time and ready to work. They went straight to work laying drop cloths to keep my home clean and then they proceeded to sweep out 40 years worth of ash and debris. I was amazed how much debris they took out of the fireplace flue and they even fixed my damper which was out of sorts.

Even though I was told my furnace was cleaned prior to me moving in I had Patriot clean that flue as well. I was shocked as 4 or 5 buckets of ask were removed . They cleaned 2 flues and then cleaned everything they way they found it.

I will definitely have them back annually and have them put a cap on my chimney. So nice to find honest folks to do business with.

Michael was scheduled to arrive around noon but was available earlier and called to ask if it would be okay to come early. He checked the fireplace to make sure it was safe and cleaned it out. There were several dead things inside (which surprisingly were not stinky) and he noticed that water had been coming in. He suggested a cap for the top of the chimney and had the right size, etc. with him so he was able to install it on the same visit. I was very pleased with his service and with him. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family!

We have a high gambrel roof and a wood burning stove in the living room that gets daily use during the heating season. Our retiring chimney and quot;caretakerand quot; referred us to Patriot Chimney and we are very happy with the service we received. Mike returned my call the same day, arrived right on time, didn't mind the roof, and left everything spotless. We're happy to have a new go-to person for chimney care!

Our neighbor gave us the name of this company, they have used them quite happily for a while now. We were given a price for cleaning of one chimney with a woodstove. They were booked up but had a cancellation and flexible enough to fit us in before the heating season started. We got a cleaned chimney at the price quoted with no pressure to buy other services, unlike the experiences we have had with a few other chimney sweeps. This was much appreciated and we will not hesitate to contact them for upcoming chimney work and stove installation and would highly recommend doing business with them.

Mike helped us inspect and repair a number of chimney related issues we were having on our recently purchased (and very old) home. It was a pleasure to work with Mike, and frankly I don't think he charged us enough for all the work he did on our three chimneys/four flues. Mike came to see us on two separate occasions. On the first occasion he inspected our four flues, showing me exactly where there were some trouble spots (and there were - this is a very old house!) He cleaned out the bottoms of the shared chimneys and replaced a rusted off chimney clean-out door with a nicer aluminum model. We then had him back to install a chimney cap on our two-flue chimney (to prevent the buildup of debris in the house) and repair a rusted out thimble on our wood stove chimney (the thimble is the joint where the flue meets the wall.) He selected a very nice replacement thimble for us and did a great job modifying the wall to hold the larger (safer) thimble. During his visits, he shared all of his useful observations with me about the state of the chimneys, including some important but unrelated observations about a soft spot on the roof and a place where an animal had chewed through. He also took the time during the inspections to show us the flues and the trouble spots he saw in our older chimneys. Mike was prompt and courteous on all occasions. He did the work he said he would, and he did a great job. He shared a bunch of valuable information with me about what he saw and what I should look out for, and I learned quite a bit about our home and safe chimney use in the process. And lastly, he didn't charge us nearly enough for all of his labor - I would have expected to pay someone else twice as much for all of the work he did for us. We've had a number of tradesmen come through for different types of work, and Mike's work ethic and attitude has been the best I've seen so far. I couldn't be happier with his work.

Mike is a very personable fellow who happily does the required work. He cleaned the wood stove chimney and reported its condition to me. He inspected the oil burner chimney and determined that a full cleaning was not necessary but cleaning out the accumulated soot at the bottom was recommended along with a new clean out door because the old one had rotted away.
