A tree fell on our garage and house during tropical storm Irene, 5 days after giving birth to my daughter. Our garage was completely crushed and we sustained significant damage to our home. C&K was the only contractor (of 5 called) that provided a prompt, detailed estimate and demonstrated significant experience working with an insurance company. Within weeks they negotiated with our insurance agent, were able to salvage our car from the garage (a miracle for anyone that saw the garage), demolish and rebuild the garage in ~2 months. They then repaired our roof, gutters and replaced windows and siding. They replasterd our ceiling inside. They were on time, on schedule and worked directly with our insurance agent to negotiate pricing, worked directly with our city for necessary permits and selected and managed the work of outside services (architect,electrician, garage door installation, paving, etc).
They were extremely courteous, organized and neat. They were extremely professional, the quality of work oustanding and were able to work around our hectic family (4 year old, infant, friendly dog). They made an otherwise daunting situation, easy to manage and into a positive experience.
