They are very meticulous, quick, polite, and get the job done. We would recommend them. My parents have been with him since he started, and his company has grown, but he hasn't lost his ability to do the job.

Initially, Nick (who is the owner) was very responsive for providing the quote for the first round of services. The work to prune back shrubs and edge our beds was performed when they said it would be and at the cost estimated. The workers who performed the services did not have much good to say about Nick as a boss -- which probably should have been our first sign of trouble. But, since the quality of work was as promised, we decided to have Nick perform additional services for us. Even accounting for the variability of scheduling due to rainy days, we had to follow up repeatedly to get Nick back to our house to bring gravel for our driveway and to spray herbicide on poison ivy on our fence line. He did not reply to voice mails or e-mails, and his office assistant was rarely helpful. The crowning moment was when his office assistant told my husband that Nick couldn't respond to our inquiries because and quot;he was busy with his established customersand quot;. That pretty well assured that we had no desire to become one of his established customers.
We have a number of other landscaping projects that we want to have completed. We've just gotten a bid from another local landscaper, whose entire presentation was far more professional and at a better price. I fully expect to be posting a great review for them once they have finished the work.
Our realtor referred us to O'Connor Landscaping, and her other referrals to us were on point. I don't know why we had such a bad experience with Nick -- but frankly I view it as his loss since we'll be giving our landscaping business to another company.
