Excellent job.  They power washed, scraped, primed, and painted the house as they promised.   They cleaned up each day and were responsive to questions and were very polite.

Painting crew were polite, professional and clean. They did a great job. No complaints. Would recommend Mitch Leaman. Prompt service and professional opinions on stain color etc.

We called Mitch last minute; we had moved all our furniture in order to have our floors done and decided to try to get the rooms painted while it was out of the way. He returned our call (and all subsequent calls) promptly, and came by on short notice to take a look. He was on-time, professional, and courteous. He even helped us select the final colors for some of the rooms based on his experience (it's hard to tell from the paint swatches!) and recommended the color we ended up choosing for the living room to match the couch, as well as recommended how to deal with our boarded up fireplace. Despite the short notice he was able to fit us in between other jobs on our schedule. We had 3-4 of his crew for 4 days to finish the job, who also always showed up on time and were courteous and professional.  They did an absolutely fantastic job patching and smoothing the walls, which are horsehair plaster and had lots of nail holes and unevenness. One wall in the staircase had a large bulge from the way it was constructed (old house) and they managed to smooth and patch it so it is almost unnoticeable. They were very good about draping plastic to seal off parts of the house they were not working in as well, as well as careful about dripping paint on the newly refinished floors. They even moved our heavy couch back into the living room when they were done.

Overall, we were extremely happy with the work done by Mitch and his crew, and would highly recommend them. We will certainly be calling Mitch again when we are ready to do additional work on the house.

Mitch and his crew (led by Wendell) were a sincere pleasure to work with, and the quality of their work was superb. 
First, they were very flexible to accommodate our schedule.  They stripped, prepped the walls, and painted some of the woodwork before our move-in date.  They would have been able to finish the job before we moved in if my wife and I were able to decide on colors in time, but they were very flexible and allowed us to delay the rest of the job until we were confident in our choices without any pressure. 
My wife and I are thrilled with the quality of their work.  The paint job looks great - the walls are smooth (good prep job), the color is even, and the lines are sharp.  There are no drip marks anywhere, and there was almost no splatter.  The very small amount of splatter that we did find was readily cleaned by the crew before leaving the site. 
We were also very impressed by his crew.  They strike me as honest, reliable, hard working, and very respectful. 
Mitch's bid was not the lowest that I received, but I chose him because he and his crew are meticulous, pay attention to detail, and we shared a vision of the work that should be done.  While not the cheapest, the price was reasonable, and I do think that we got the highest value for our money.

The entire process was excellent.  Mitch responded immediately to my phone call and was able to provide an estimate right away.  We were working under a tight deadline to have the work completed.  We lucked out and due to weather, Mitch was able to send his crew that week.  The work was completed quickly and with great results.  We have an antique cape with unique details.  We are very particular about maintaining the quality and character of our home.  Mitch's crew showed great care regarding our home, especially the floors.  The results exceeded all expectations.  The crew was very neat and professional.  We would definetly call on him again and recommend his services.  Thanks Mitch and crew!

The crew showed up, and the foreman reviewed everything with me and showed me what they would do.  The spend several days on the prepwork, filling holes and imperfections, caulking and making everything perfect.  The results look like they could be in a magazine!  When the job was completed, they cleaned up thoroughly and put all the furniture back in place.

Mr. Leaman did a fantastic job.  He responded to my call almost immediately, came the same day to look at the job, and gave me the estimate withing 24 hours.  I had asked that the job be done while I was away so I wouldn't have to be around the paint fumes.

The job was done as requested.  The rooms look fanastic.  Although I was not there during the job, my son-in-law was around off and on and said the workers were very professional and neat.  Everything was cleaned up well at the end.

I have used Mitch for interior painting before and knew that the quality is high and the work done efficiently and priced fairly by time and materials.  This was a relatively small job and Mitch's crew is very busy, so I had to wait for him.  I got two other quotes from highly rated Angie's List painters.  Both were in the same range as Mitch's, but did not include repairing the skylight, and neither would do the job for time and materials.  Mitch's crew of two were meticulous in protecting the premises from paint and dust, hanging plastic around the whole area and preparing the surfaces carefully.  They were extremely polite, professional and efficient, did the repairs and painting extremely well, and cleaned up completely.  I'm very pleased with Mitch's outfit.

He did everything. He did the work throughout the year; he did the work on an incremental basis. He came back and did the shutters outside. The bulk of the work was done between November 2009 and February 2010. I spent about $22000 on the job. He had earlier done work at my parents? house and I didn?t have to go very far to look at his work. I had first-hand knowledge of his work and what he did. He applied the same work ethics when he worked at my house. He and his crew came out at 6:00 a.m. and worked for 12 hours. The job was difficult; they took their time to do it as the house I had purchased was in disarray. Now, the place looks beautiful and brand new. It looks great. I would not have used him if I didn?t think he was worth it. He is a great guy and he is great to work with. He will be coming out to do more work for me in the future.

Mitch came promptly to house and gave a complete estimate based on time plus actual materials. His crew arrived exactly on schedule every day (6 days), were polite, quiet, very clean, and extremely competent and professional. The crew laid drop clothes and put up plastic throughout to minimize dust from sanding. Mitch himself came several days for short periods to review the work and give instructions, and was very helpful in helping select new paint, including testing several wall areas with different colors. After completing the job with excellent results, the crew cleaned and vacuumed the entire house.
