I highly recommend them. I used them probably last spring heartworm season. The visit cost probably around $180. They treat me there fairly and their prices are very reasonable. They are happy when they see you.

Dr. Emily Clair is one of the finest and compassionate vets I know. I have been seeing her for several years with my two cats. She is thorough and considers my pet's age when determining what s/he needs. I recommend her without reservation.

I took my dog in to get checked for hives that were on her ears, nose, and legs. The vet refused to actually look at her. and quot;I might get bitand quot; was her reason. I asked what she thought was wrong, she told me, and quot;It could be leprosy or cancer. Or maybe just something she ate. I don't know, it also looks like a tarantula bite, but we don't have tarantulas in Massachusetts.and quot; I asked if I should be concerned. She replied, and quot;Well I would wash my hands every time I touch her. This looks like something from another country.and quot; She sold me a topical steroid and an antibiotic. I asked if the medication could cause diarrhea. She said, and quot;Well coming to the vet can cause diarrhea, so I guess you should be concerned.and quot; I asked what I should do if my dog gets diarrhea. Her response was, and quot;Well, dogs don't have human digestive systems so don't treat her the way you would your child.and quot;

We are changing vets today. I would suggest you go Kingston Animal Hospital if you like to pay too much, get no answers, want to have someone tell you your animal might have a disease only found in other countries, and like a vet that won't actually touch or examine your animal because she is afraid of dogs!

They have a wonderful staff, everyone there is terrific; from the receptionist, to the technician, and the veterinarians. They are all board certified and have multiple specialties, including exotic animals. Also, the parking is good, and they are very good about getting you in quickly.

My dog was bitten at a family function in New York and needed a follow up appointment and staple removal. We had no problem getting that appointment when we wanted and they did not charge for the visit. We have been using this vet office for years and could not imagine taking our pets anywhere else. It is always very easy to get an appointment and if it's an emergency appointment they get us in right away. The staff are very friendly and they all make it a point to interact with our pets . The wait is always very short. They do what has to be done but I have never felt that they were doing anything unnecessary to increase the bill as has been my experience at some offices. They're the best!
