Excellent service provided in a friendly and professional manner. Arrived first thing in the morning, cut down and removed three trees and left the area completely clean. I highly recommend.

Excellent job, reasonable price.
We needed tree branches cut back (per our insurance company) to maintain our house insurance.
They came gave us an estimate and we hired them.
Heather was great to work with and Willie came and did the job, professional and fast service.

I had Colonial Tree Service, along with two other tree service companies for an estimate. The guy from Colonial Tree Service promptly came out, and gave a reasonable estimate. His estimate had come in well below the figures the other two tree service guys gave. I decided to hire Colonial Tree Service, and I am extremely please with their work. They were professional, friendly and efficient with their work. They even cleaned up the mess that was created. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent quality work.

A very large tree fell in a snow storm and Colonial removed it and two equally large and damaged trees, pruned another tree and removed a smaller dead tree. The responsiveness, work and cleanup were excellent. They have the equipment and skill to safely and efficiently do this work, which has its dangers. We recommend them highly.

They were excellent. It was a difficult job because there were wires that they had to maneuver through and around. They guys were diligent and expeditiously took down the tree and moved it. They provided a great price and did a great job. I now heard that the company has changed hands and moved to the son who has quadrupled the prices that were available. There was nobody doing the work for what the father had been doing, so I think now they are as expensive as everybody else.

"...for the record. CTS switched hands almost 10 years ago. All prices are based on: the amount of time for us to complete the job and the accessibility for our machinery. (NOT weather or not you live in an expensive neighborhood OR you look like "you've got money".) The "son" has been giving estimates for over 5 years and moved into his fathers spot in 2011 and our pricing has never been more consistent. Having been the one doing the work he knows how long each job is going to take. Everyone gets the same deal and he is a straight shooter who doesn't try to talk anyone into spending money they don't need to. He has not inflated our prices in any way shape or form EVEN THOUGH the cost of living, insurance, fuel, etc. increase all the time. We are a great family owned and operated company who take great pride in all aspects of the work we do. We encourage everyone to get multiple estimates from different tree companies and do our best to educate them through the process. We NEVER want to know what the other guy can do the job for because we're not interested in playing that game. We know what kind of work we do and we have a bottom line. IF you can get it done cheaper (AND they are completely insured and not working off your homeowners) then we are happy for you and hope they provide you with the same quality service you would have received from us. We are happy that you were satisfied with the job we did for you and we'd be happy to have the opportunity to do it again. Contractor did an excellent job with cleanup. I didn't have to do any picking up after them. Very professional crew, came out with substantial equipment and a large chipper. Crew knew what they were doing. I was worried about the pine tree they removed since it was only 6 feet from the house. They had no problem taking it down as regards possible damage to house. They stripped it of branches and then took it down section by section; didn't even get any pine needles in the gutter! These people are good.

I have a very large Norway maple tree that was overhanging a neighbor's roof and also my deck. It also had a large amount of dead wood. I called 3 tree companies for estimates and Colonial tree was the lowest in price. They were prompt in coming out to give me an estimate but when I called to schedule they were very busy and I wasn't able to get an appointment for approximately 5 weeks. Once they arrived, the crew was amazing. I was impressed with their professionalism and skill, in particular the tree climber. The whole crew worked very hard and cleaned up great after the job was done. They explained what they were going to do and after they completed the job, asked if I was satisfied. I would definately use this company again.

Compared to one other tree service I used, they were much cleaner and more profession with the work. They were the lowest of 3 quotes when I used them the first time, though this time I only got their quote for the work. If you are in no rush and can wait their 2 week lead time I highly recommend them.

They cleaned up and left the wood as I asked and were pretty good. I spent about $650 on that job.

Everything went very well, and the job only took one day. I was very satisfied with them, and they cleaned up really well. They removed all of the wood chips and filled in the holes. Their prices were the lowest of the estimates I received, and I found them to be very professional. They left some wood behind as I requested, and I would certainly consider using them again.

I GUESS THESE PEOPLE ARE PRETTY BUSY. THEY DID GET THE WORK DONE BUT THEIR SCHEDULING WAS SOMEWHAT ERRATIC. THEY DIDN'T ALWAYS ARRIVE WHEN SCHEDULED. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK AS AGREED.
