I got a 1200 dollar bill. I priced out the material, and the price was absurd. He was fully willing to negotiate. He is a crook. The service was fine. The job they did was ok. The owner is a thief. He will charge whatever he can bear not what the job is worth.

I was very happy with the job that they did. I spent $70 for the job. I was having problems with my lights dimming. There was some problem with the system. They found the problem for me and fixed it. They did the job; they did it right; and they did it very efficiently. They were knowledgeable and punctual. I will definitely use them again in the future. 

They came when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. They were a pleasure to work with. I was very happy with their services.

Single-family home. Complete loss of power on 7/13/2010 due to failed main breaker switch. Electrician arrived the same afternoon and quickly restored power. Explained to the electrician my need to install separate window ac in guest rooms and learned that upgrading parts of the electrical system would be advisable. Made appointment for 7/16/2010. He arrived on time. Worked for 5 hours and completed the work to my satisfaction.

They did a very good job. We shopped around. They were in the ball park for price. They were excellent.

I rented a studio apartment adjacent to my retail store to use as an office. The old electrical needed to be reconfigured 051131626614 to suit the needs of an office. I have used Re-Jan electric for years. I was in a hurry for this job. They had the estimator out the day after I called, and the electricians on site the following afternoon. As with all contractors, I find that the clearer I am about the work that I want done and what I want the finished product to look like, the quicker the entire process goes. In this case, I am going to be doing the finish work, such as closing holes in wall and ceilings and repainting.

Their customer service was alright. They sent out their primary contractors and they assessed the problem. They made me feel comfortable, but did not mention that he would be sending other people to do the job. They came out and did a great job and I was very impressed with it. They were unable to answer questions about any additional work I had and they kept calling their manager.

They did a good job. They explained what needed to be done. They showed up on time. They were very professional. They were easy to get a hold of.

I mainly dealt with three people, first an estimator, secondly electrician and his helpers, and third a financial representative who collects the money in person. The electrician was excellent in every way and if the firm could be graded on his performance every grade would be an A. However, both the estimator, whose estimate for the job was $20,000 and whose plan for the work was excellent, and the financial representative, who extracted from me not only prepayment for the entire job but an additional $16,000 loan to the company, have since left the company and Re-Jan now denies any responsibility for either of them or their actions. They therefore claim that the work done in 2005 consisted of random jobs charged on a time and material basis, for which the cost was $36,000. They now wish me to pay an additional $16,000 for the work completed in 2006 for a total of $52,000. I want them to stop dunning me for additional payments on a job for which they have already grossly over paid.

Work was fine. Price charged was far too high, and for that reason I won't use them again.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HIRED TO DO ANYTHING. I HAD ONE DAY TO GET THIS WORK DONE. I TOLD RE-JAN ON THE PHONE BEFORE THEY CAME, AND WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THAT IF THEY COULD NOT COMPLETE IT THAT DAY, NOT TO START, AS THEY COULD NOT COME BACK. THE SCHEDULER TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD SEND TWO MEN OVER FIRST THING IN THE AM. TWO MEN ARRIVED AT 10:40 AFTER I CALLED AGAIN. I MADE SURE THEY KNEW NOT TO START UNLESS THEY COULD FINISH THAT DAY. I CAME BACK TWO HOURS LATER. THERE WAS ANOTHER VERY STRANGE MAN THERE, WHO I WOULDN'T HAVE LET IN THE HOUSE. THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT FINISH THAT DAY. I TOLD THEM TO FINISH THE PIECE THEY HAD STARTED AND LEAVE. I CAME BACK AT 4:00. THEY WERE IN A PANIC, SCREAMING ABOUT AN EMERGENCY, SAID THEY HAD FINISHED BUT NEEDED TO COME BACK FOR ONE THING. THEY WERE THERE 5 1/2 HOURS. I RECEIVED A BILL FOR 11 HOURS. I SENT PAYMENT FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY WERE THERE. THEY SENT THE BILL TO A COLLECTION AGENCY. THEY CAUSED $700 DAMAGE TO EXISTING WIRING.

IT WAS OVERALL A GOOD SERVICE. THE PRICE WAS VERY HIGH. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. I MADE A SUGGESTION, BUT THEY TOOK IT AND THEY DID THE SERVICE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL IN SOME ASPECTS. THE JOB HELD OUT. THEY KNEW THEIR JOB.

They responded quickly and sent someone over the next day, who completed the work without incident.

Re-Jan has done several jobs for us at our 60+ year old home; they have always been very responsive; at our most recent project, the work was not completed at the time promised. When we contacted them, they were very apologetic, and fixed the problem the following day; I would use them again, and recommend them highly.

THE COMPANY TOLD US THAT THEY WOULD PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE FOR ELECTRICAL WORK AT NO CHARGE. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON TIME, WE HAD TO LEAVE, AND THEN THEY CALLED TO COMPLAIN THAT WE WERE NOT THERE. WE TRIED IT AGAIN A COUPLE TIMES, SAME THING HAPPENED. WHEN THEY DID FINALLY ARRIVE AT THE HOUSE, THEY GAVE US AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE FOR A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF WORK AND THEN TOLD US THE CHARGE FOR THE ESTIMATE WAS $100 CASH BECAUSE THEY HAD SENT AN "ELECTRICIAN ASSISTANT" RATHER THAN AN ESTIMATOR. WE TOLD THE GUY THAT WE HAD BEEN INFORMED THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE A CHARGE FOR THE ESTIMATE, AND WE ARGUED ABOUT IT FOR ONE-HALF HOUR. HE LEFT WHEN WE REFUSED TO PAY, THEN ARGUED ON THE PHONE FOR AN HOUR AND TOLD HIM THAT WE WERE GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT ABOUT HIS COMPANY. SUBSEQUENTLY WE DISCOVERED THAT THE COMPANY OPERATES UNDER SEVERAL DIFFERENT NAMES, AND WHEN YOU CALL EACH ONE OF THEM YOU ARE ACTUALLY CALLING THE SAME COMPANY, WHICH SEEMS TO US HIGHLY UNETHICAL AND POSSIBLY ILLEGAL.

PROMPT SERVICE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXPENSIVE.

THIS COMPANY SERIOUSLY OVER CHARGES. THE FIRST VISIT THEY WERE HERE FOR A FEW HOURS - THEIR WORK DECENT, BUT WE WERE SHOCKED BY THE $550 BILL($80 FOR THE ELECTRICIAN AND $40 FOR THE APPRENTICE, PLUS MATERIALS). THEY BILLED US FOR FOUR HOURS AND I WASN'T SURE HOW LONG THEY WERE HERE, SO WE DIDN'T ARGUE. THEIR NEXT (AND FINAL)VISIT THEY WERE HERE 45 MINUTES AND BILLED US FOR TWO HOURS, A TOTAL OF $270. WHEN WE ASKED WHY, THEY CLAIMED IT WAS TRAVEL TIME - EVEN THOUGH OUR HOME IS ONLY 5 MILES FROM THEIR OFFICE. HE KNOCKED $30 OFF THE BILL WHEN WE ASKED HOW IT TOOK THEM 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES TO TRAVEL 10 MILES. (THEY ALSO CLAIM THAT THEY DO NOT CHARGE FOR TRAVEL!) YET, $240 IS STILL RIDICULOUS FOR THE WORK THEY DID - THIS TIME IT WASN'T EVEN DONE WELL. THEY DO NOT DESERVE THE ''B'' RATING THEY CURRENTLY HAVE ON ANGIE'S LIST. THE BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

RE-JAN OVER-CHARGED ME SIGNIFICANTLY. THE ELECTRICIAN ARRIVED WITHOUT THE CONDUIT NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE WORK, DESPITE MY HAVING BEEN PERFECTLY CLEAR WHAT WAS NEEDED WHEN I SCHEDULED THE WORK. HE HAD TO DRIVE BACK TO RE-JAN TO GET IT AND THEY BILLED ME FOR THAT TIME. WHEN I COMPLAINED THEY TOOK $80 OFF THE CHARGE, BUT $328 FOR 45 MINUTES OF WORK AND $25 OF MATERIALS IS OUTRAGEOUS.

JOB WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY, COMPETENTLY, PROFESSIONALLY, AND COURTEOUSLY. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED ON A RENTAL PROPERTY. I WAS NOT PRESENT DURING THE TIME THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. THE ELECTRICAL COMPANY STAFF INSTALLED THE SMOKE ALARMS IN A TROUBLE-FREE MANNER. THEY SHOWED FOR THE JOB ON-TIME, AND COMPLETED ALL THE WORK PROMISED. IT SEEMED PRICEY, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE COST IS FOR A JOB LIKE THE ONE COMPLETED. MY MOTHER LET THE WORKERS IN, AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE EXPENSIVE HAD I NOT HAD SOME OF THE BASIC WORK DONE IN THE PAST.

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, IT TOOK SEVERAL SCHEDULING ATTEMPTS TO GET THEM TO STOP BY. INITIALLY CHARGED WAY OVER QUOTE BECAUSE THEY CHARGED US FOR TWO TRIPS TO THE HOUSE. (THEY EITHER DID NOT COME THE FIRST TIME OR THEY CAME WAY AFTER THEIR AGREED TIME.) THEY AGREED TO REDUCE THE BILL, BUT AS NO ELECTRICAL WORK WAS ACTUALLY NEEDED, THE FINAL PRICE STILL SEEMED HIGH FOR TWO ELECTRICIANS FOR 30 MINUTES. THE ELECTRICIANS THAT DID COME WERE VERY EFFICIENT, DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM, AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. FINALLY, THEY PESTERED ME FOR PAYMENT, THEN DID NOT SHOW UP TO PICK UP THE CHECK, AND RE-BILLED ME. HOWEVER, THEY WERE PLEASANT IN TRYING TO RESOLVE THE MATTER. HOWEVER, IT COST ME MORE IN TIME LOST TRYING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM THAN IT ACTUALLY COST THEM TO DO THE JOB! OVERALL HOWEVER, GIVEN THE WEATHER PROBLEMS, I FOUND THE PEOPLE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND WOULD CONSIDER CALLING THEM AGAIN.
