I have been troubled by two interactions with the Beacon Group. The first involved the purchase of my condo. I had seen it first listed on a Sunday and called that day to inquire about it; they offered me an appointment to show it the following day. After getting off the phone I called my buyer's agent to see if he could make the appointment but he couldn't so I called back to reschedule. When I told the listing agent that I had a buyer's agent he said he'd have to discuss it with his manager and get back to me. I didn't hear back from them for 4 days despite repeated calls from myself and my buyers agent. I did end-up buying the place and forgot about this problem until recently (11/06). A recent home inspector expressed concerns about our roof so I called Beacon Group and asked if they could give me information about the roof or the contractor who had done work on it in '02. I called 3 times over 3 weeks, spoke with the same person at length each time, and they never called back.
