Great job and dependable service

Great guy

I retained the services of Jose Leon Handyman to retain/repaint a small decorative maintenance shed belonging to the land trust of which I am president. The job included pre-washing/cleaning of cedar shingles, replacing several broken shingles, and replacing the cedar shutters, as well as fixing a number of small problems that were discovered while Mr. Leon was working for us; as well as the added job of resealing a small asphalt court and painting a hop-scotch court thereon. Although Mr. Leon's rates are not cheap, they are reasonable and competitive. I would again retain the services of Jose Leon Handyman and recommend him to others. I was extremely impressed with the quality of his work and the breadth of his skills. He is a good man to know!

Jose is a very dedicated and hard worker. He is extremely dependable - shows up on time and worked throughout the day to ensure completion of project. My only concern was the silicon that was put on the bottom of tile backsplash. I e-mailed him, after already paying him in full, and he contacted me immediately and wants to come back to ensure I am fully satisfied. As far as the tile backsplash, a terrific job.

He responded immediatelty to my inquiry and was able to schedule an appointment right away. He was very clear about costs, showed up on time and was very professional.

He was very fast and knew exactly what needed to be done. Minor annoyances included: 1) not taking off his boots after coming inside (but granted, he did park two blocks away, so he had to step out a couple of times), and 2) in my opinion, a relatively high price tag, considering that he required my help to tighten some screws while he help the door in place ($100 for 35 minutes of work, 2 screws, and 2 wingnuts).

I was very satisfied with this company. He was knowledgeable and had the remedy right away. He also was very efficient.

He was able to come out and give me an estimate that day. He charged for travel time. I hired him and he came Saturday morning on time. He took about an hour, put down a drop cloth and cleaned up after himself. Overall, an excellent experience.

Good-so far, project is still in the works. I was away for a few days.

Jose was very nice and did a fine job on our projects. He started work on the day we first communicated. We added a few small items to his list of things to do and he was flexible and worked over the whole weekend as we were in a hurry to complete the job. My only complaint was that he took quite a bit longer to do the job than I had expected. But, if you have a laundry list of little things you need repaired, Jose is great for the job.
