Description of Work: Part of my biking routine is to always have tire liners. With liners I get a lot less flats than without. In fact I rarely get any flats when my tubes are protected by tire liners. So the last time I used this business was to replace a tube because they valve stem had broken on a 6 year old tube. The tube itself was fine but air valves break eventually. | |A few months later - after the warranty was up - the new tube wound up flat. I wound up replacing that tube at another bike shop. At the 2nd bike shop the technician told me that there was no tire liner. Apparently the technician at Ferris Wheels neglected to put the tire liner back when he replaced the 1st tube. | |I emailed the owner to tell him that because his technician did not put the tire liner back I wound with a flat and had to buy another replacement. The owner did not respond. | |A few months later after receiving no response I posted a complaint on another social media site. That got the owners' attention. The response however was only that he does not normally check the email address that is listed on his website. Doesn't check the email account listed on his website? Ah hah. | |He did not offer to pay for the new tube nor to pay for the cost of replacing the tire liner. So I wound paying for 2 tubes and having to buy a new set of tire liners. | |As a side note concerning tire liners: I have not had to replace the 2nd tube since getting the tire liners. I did wind up replacing the tube on a 2nd bike I bought. But that was because the technician at the store had told me that the tires on the 2nd bike had tire liners as well. Since getting tire liners for that bike I've had not problems with flats. So the positive part of this: GET TIRE LINERS! | |Due to this situation and other instances of lousy custom service I refuse to patronize this business. That is too bad. It is local to my neighborhood. But there are plenty of bike shops in Boston staffed by people who not only love to bike but care about how the quality of their work.

Description of Work: Fixed a flat and replaced tire. Replaced a set of brake pads and fixed the other set of brakes that wasn't working right. Trued a wheel. Performed maintenance on d railleur.
