Tim showed up on time, did the job, and took the time to test the system and to show me how to use it. Would recommend.

It turned out to be faulty old switch box that had given out. He was able to identify the problem and fix it quickly (about an hour all in). Would definitely hire him again. Tim is a great electrician and a great guy.

The up charges for changes were unreasonable. We felt like he got the job by giving us a good price but then charged us too much when there was a change. He added $1600 to run a wire to the attic when we decided to put a new furnace up there. He also didn't put a light switch by the door, in a mud room when we specified that everything had to be up to code. We had to change the fixture to a sensor light which cost us another $200. We also miss counted closets when we did the contract so he didn't put one in one of the closets. He was also argumentative when we asked for small changes., not an enjoyable working relationship at all.

Tim was tremendous: timely, friendly, professional, thorough and very enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend him, and I am looking forward to working with him again on any issues in my home.

He squeezed me in very quickly. Straightened out the wiring and found a potentially dangerous situation and rectified it. He also gave me great advice on a project that I was tackling.

Tim arrived on time and was friendly, informative and worked diligently for several hours until each project was completed to his and my approval. Now all my light fixtures inside and out are working properly and our water heater is now safe to use! Mr. wolcott told me a date, about one wk from my phone call. Since i had already called 2 other electricians with no response, just to get the call back was a positive. He called on the date because he was running late and wanted to know if i wanted to reschedule, or was it ok if he just came late? I told him to come on over because I had that day off and he'd wanted me to be available when the chandelier went in, in case he had questions about the chain length etc.
He showed up, was very polite and informative. He got right to work and installed the chandelier in a little over an hour. he asked if i was interested in a dimmer (which i was) which he then got from his truck and put that right in also. great job.
so, not only did he come on the day he said he would, he called that day when he realized he was running late, then he stayed well after 6pm to finish the job and even installed the dimmer for me. He went over some things about the newer lightbulbs as well.
I'd highly recommend him.

Timothy Wolcott did a superb job installing a new 240V circuit to my detached garage (125ft of wire). He was more than happy to have me do some of the work (dig the trench and help feed the line through the crawlspace in part of my house). I did this part of the job myself because it helped save me money and it saved Tim time. In the end, the job was completed in 1 day and I paid for a days labor and materials. I could not be more happy with the way the job was completed and the fair price I was quoted. I will be calling Tim in the future for other electrical work around the house.

Timothy Wolcott Electrical Contractor made the diagnosis so I had to get a plumber and he had to connect it and he is going to come back to hook up my TV. He is very reasonable and he is a star. He had to go through the box and put in a section there and a kill switch and I had no problem paying him. I have no experience with this kind of work but I thought he was very reasonable.

Timothy was responsive, punctual and friendly. He seemed very knowledgable and worked quickly and efficiently. The first time I hired him he installed a chandelier in my dining room. I called him a few months later for a fan install in my family room. He did a great job both times, and I know I will be hiring him in the future. I have no qualms in recommending him highly. He scores an A all around.

Tim provided extensive analysis of the electrical system in an older house; never easy unless you can see through walls. He was willing to take the time to do that as part of the estimating process, a valuable service. We decided which of the many approaches to creating the electrical hookups for a washer and dryer we wanted, and could afford; Tim reorganized the service panel to to do it cost effectively, and provided ongoing consultation while doing so.
