He insisted on using a black caulk, so aside from being unsightly, he left a huge stain on the inside of the door.  To be candid, i'm not actually sure if it worked, as it hasn't rained.  But, the bigger issue is that i was upstairs as the work was being done, and the mason felt it appropriate to use 2 pieces of my clothing (the laundry area is adjacent to the wall on which he was working) and use a new blouse and a new dress to clean his tools off.  No call upstairs to ask if i had rags, no attempted clean up of the door, just 2 pieces of balled up clothing hidden beneath the sink.
To date, i've left 2 emails and have attempted multiple calls - they go to voicemail, which of course full and not accepting new messages.
