Del Cid Design and Construction

Job was estimated to take 4-6 weeks, took 5+ months bc after we put the first deposit down owner Ely had only one poor guy doing all the demo and rebuilding of our porch. Ely is severely unprofessional. His own plumber would not come when scheduled, holding up the job repeatedly. My wife handled it all like a pro. I am in the military and if I had my way it would not have been pretty. Mistakes and bad communication cost us an additional 1k+ and added weeks. The work was ok and afterwards things like not labeling the breakers of the electric panel they installed and poor installation of the front door/storm door combination were not addressed. The worst part was this Ely telling my wife he didn't have to honor the contract and blaming her for the bad job they did. He was very rude and badmouthed everybody from our architect to the inspectors.. We have additional major renovation but my wife hired a great company that cost more but you live and learn. give them 3 stars bc the one guy who did all the building Luis, is excellent.There are only two other workers, including an electrician. They were very respectful and try to do their best. The work was ok but the owner's utter lack of professionalism drove us away.

Ely was very attentive and really listened to my needs and then was able to execute within a fair budget. Definitely hire him again!

They did a really good job. What I liked about the owner was, he's an architect and a licensed contractor. They honor their word and they got the work done quickly. The company was so professional and kept their word. This is the company that I feel I can refer to a friend without reservation.

It was good. He kept in touch with me continuously, price was fair, and the work quality was good. Overall, he's a very good contractor.

They were great and the new porches look awesome. All the workers were respectful and courteous. Once the old porch was down they discovered issues with the foundation that needed to be addressed . They were able to do what had to be done with very little change to the timeline. We were planning to hire an electrician to add lighting, but there was no need as Del Cid Design did it for us. Highly recommend this company.
