He got rid of them and identified their entry points which I then sealed. Two years later the external burrow was active again and he got rid of them again using the bait stations and dusting. He was very punctual and efficient. I did what he said and have had no further issues in the building. I think the price may be a little high but he did the job.

I say above that they did perform the service but really they performed only half. I called them when I was worried we had rats/mice in the basement in the Fall. A man came within two days of my call, on time. He did leave two big black sealed traps and pointed out two spaces that should be sealed up (and did suggest some methods). He was there for less than 30 minutes. I paid for the full service then. They said they'd call in a few weeks to make an appointment to get the traps and see how things stood.
They've never called back (now almost two months) and the two traps they left are still here. I found several dead mice on the floors and set my own snap traps (and the cat caught three). I sealed up at least 10 spots which needed it both inside and outside. I ended spending around $150 at the hardware store myself for snap traps and supplies and two weekends in sealing things inside and outside the house including several larger holes in the walls/floors. I think the mouse problem (fortunately not rats, it seems) is taken care of but nothing City Exterminators did seemed to have had an effect (as far as I can tell their traps remain empty) except suggesting using broken glass as part of the sealing up method and they never followed up or got their traps. I feel as though I paid them a not small sum but that I should have just first done it myself as I on my own (and the cat) ended up fixing the issue. They dropped off the traps, took the check but did not seem to care enough to follow up. I'll have to call them now to come get the traps back (or to ask if they can be thrown out).

They put bait down in our basement. I would refer them to a friend or family member. They are excellent and they are responsible. They come and do their job. They keep in touch with us. I'm pleased with their services.
