Robies is a full-service heating, air conditioning, and generator company serving Cape Cod. We repair and install gas furnaces, boilers, and radiant heat systems, as well as central cooling and ductless cooling systems. Robies also installs and services Generac automatic emergency stand-by generators. We are specialists in air quality and purification systems. All Robies technicians are factory-trained and NATE-certified. We serve both homes and businesses.

We have had great experiences with Robies. Most recently, they replaced two ductless split AC units in our home. It was a big job and it involved both installation work and electrical work. Even though we called them in the heat of summer, when they are incredibly busy, they were relatively prompt in visiting our home to assess our needs. They were also prompt in in sending an estimate for the job and in scheduling the work. The installers and electricians who completed the work were terrific. Good people who were obviously skilled in their work. They arrived on time, did an excellent job in putting the units in place, handled the electrical issues without a glitch, and were very helpful in explaining everything to us. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and sterling service. And the price they charged was in line with others that we have received. An easy 5 stars.

I can say, without a doubt, that Robies and in particular Wolly the Robies' worker who oversaw all work, completed everything required to meet town standards and then some. Every detail to find the gas leaks was done with precision and absolute knowledge of what needed to be accomplished. We cannot thank you enough for your work-on the coldest days of the year!

The work was very well done overall . However, I would not rate the pricing as highly it appears on the website. Two and one half hours of labor came to $402.00, or $134.00 an hour. I phoned the company to make sure that I understood the labor pricing policy. Their charge is $134 and hour and then they bill by quarter hour increments at $33.55. I do intend to check around to see what the local competitors charge because I have only prior annual bills to compare to at this point. . For this cleaning the total charge was nearly $500.

Ask around for other references. We continue to use them because they were already servicing the house. They are reliable and reputable. I have had no real problems with them.

Bob Hall was the salesperson who came to my home and developed the estimate. He explained the how the system works and made recommendation on the size of each unit and location for each installation. He also detailed the rebates from Mass Save that these units were eligible for. He was on time, professional and knowledgable.
We set the date for installation. The crew arrived on time. Due to the huge snowfall (almost 2 feet) it was difficult to install the three compressors on the ground. One of the workers had to shovel a path around the back of the house to each location.
The installation went smoothly and we're done 5 pm.
The following week a supervisor came in to inspect the installation and spent time with my wife and I going over the operation of the units.
After installation I paid Robies for the work minus the rebates which they helped file out all the paperwork. They were patient while we waited for the rebate checks to be processed. Finally the first check came in but the second was delayed. Their office called looking for the payment which I paid. Eventually, the final rebate check came in the following week.
Overall a very positive experience!

Jim Robie came and designed the system and was quite responsive to all our concerns. When there was a small problem with one of the units, the service tech came and made the adjustments at no charge. We were quite impressed that they were so responsive to all our calls.

I am new to the Cape so I got their name from Angie's list and gave them a call. They came in about two hours after my call and corrected the problem quickly. They were friendly and answered my many questions as this is the first time I have ever had gas appliances. The material was about $30 and the rest was labor. The work was good and has stood the test of time since mid October but I thought their price was high, possibly because there were two of them. I liked their work and quick response and will likely use them in the future for routine and emergency furnace work but will get an estimate before they come.
