The technician did a thorough check of the entire central air system. Found a slight leak in an outside valve and fixed. Seemed very knowledgeable.

Bob Bourque discussed our heating options and also asked us if we had CO2 detectors in our house in case the furnace got worst. I received the written proposal within a couple of days. It was so refreshing dealing with Bourque after dealing with six different HVAC contractors which I received several bids ranging from $3,800 to $14,000. I did hire Bourque to install our new gas furnace and a humidifier, their price was fair and after doing my homework Bourque had good references and are very reputable in our town. I was very impressed with all the staff that was very professional and courtesy. They did such a nice job at my home I highly recommended Bourque for my mother's home which they will be installing a new gas furnace and new air conditioning system within the next few weeks. My advice to anyone needing a heating or cooling system do your homework, Be sure get at least three (3) bids with detailed written proposals and check references from the contactor's current customers. Also go online to check for reviews or complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Anglies lists and even Google the Contractors name and address, you will be surprised with what information you will find. We received many, many estimates for adding AC to our existing heating system. For about the same price, several bidders said that we had to only add a condenser unit to our furnace. Some said that we had to additionally install a much larger internal coil. Bourque clearly explained the implications/options of each suggested addition. Their conclusion was to slightly upgrade our existing coil so as to more efficiently optimize the new system. This system was going in a vacation home located some distance from our primary residence. I took their proposal to my long-time, local, trusted dealer and he enthusiastically agreed with all that they proposed, while thoroughly debunking the suggestions of others. Bob Bourque was easy to work with; both he and his workers were punctual in their appointments; the installation went off smoothly.; they cleaned up after themselves. I would enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone interested in installing AC.

It was done in a rental property so the timing had to be very precise. We had a 3 day window of opportunity to get the entire thing done. Bob laid out the things I had to do such as get the gas company to bring the line in ,etc. and line up an electrician. He also sent me the forms required by the gas company to order the equipment. Bob did the calculation on the required size of the furnace and as Instructed, I paid the gas company. The equipment arrived in the nick of time and the work was scheduled for a particular date and time. Unfortunately, the crew came a day earlier and the renters were very unhappy. If they had called me, I could have straightened it out with Bob but they didn't. I wound up having to compensate them for spending their last day of vacation at the house waiting for the workmen to leave. Totally unnecessary, I know, but the customer is always right. I told Bob what had happened and we worked out a solution easily. I was completely satisfied. When the system was first used, the following week, there was a hangup with one of the thermostats and he sent out a crew member to fix it immediately. I was extremely pleased with his professionalism and manner and would unhesitatingly recommend him without reservation. In fact, I have added him to my list of contractors for my real estate and property management clients. His staff is very efficient and courteous. I wish everyone was as reliable and easy to do business with..

The installation personnel were very professional, punctual, and neat. The ductwork and equipment were installed with craftsman efficiency.

We use them regularly and they are very good. They are reasonable. They call you when it is time to service your equipment and so it is not left to you to remember. They are professional about how they handle things. I don’t have a lot to compare the price to because most plumbing people are expensive. I guess it was a fair price. I have been using them for five or six years and I have no reason to change.
