All Cape Aluminum

Screens were replaced while we were away. When we returned two weeks later we found many, over 10, rips and tears in different places in several panels. When we called we were told they were bird strikes. We asked them to come out to see since we never had bird strikes before and some tears were behind deck railing which birds could not fly into. They said they would come in about a week. After not showing, we called several times and were finally told they were too busy. About three weeks later without any further communication 2 men came to remove the screens. If we hadn't been home they would have taken them and then charged us again without ever speaking with us. No one has called us since then. Initially we only needed three panels replaced but were told due to the age and condition of original screens we should replace them all and they would use better material which would last longer. We paid for the entire porch to be re-screened but now our screens are in worse shape than the old ones which lasted 8-10 years. How is this screening better when it didn't even last two weeks and our other screens didn't tear or rip until the sun caused them to deteriorate? We chose All cape Aluminum because of good reviews but unfortunately this was not our experience. We feel we paid a lot of money and they left our porch in worse shape.

We called All Cape to measure our door openings and we selected the doors.  There was a delay of about two weeks between the initial call and the measurements.  The doors themselves took a bit longer than we anticipated to come in and we were unable to be there when they were installed.  Perhaps due to a miscommunication, one was installed opposite to what we had originally, but our original door actually swung contrary to the standard.  After seeing the door, we contacted All Cape and they agreed to remake the door, but we decided to keep it.

They did a very good job. It was very good. Initially something did not fit quite right on these glass panels. So, they came and they made whatever modification needed to be made in order to fit and they fitted fine. Except for the glitch where the things did not quite fit, they were very cooperative and rectified the situation right away. In addition, we had a contractor here during the month of September and he used the metal framework for the screens from All Cape Aluminum. We actually probably spent more with them because we ordered screens with them but it was kind of all wrapped into the total bill from the contractor. So, I’m not sure exactly how much the screen portion was. The framework was very good. The screen fitted beautifully. I did not really compare prices. Initially this was all done through the contractor who did the work in renovating the porch.  I had have screen doors done by this company before and I liked them very much. As far as the price, I am not sure, they did not seem exorbitant but I did not compare. The quality of work was very good.

I would definitely use them again. They were prompt, reasonable and responsible. It was done during the prime season and they were still prompt. They do discounts for winter work but we wanted them then.
