I am sure every antique clock has a story. Bob is outstanding not only as a master clocksmith, he is an artesian crafting with passion. He understood and appreciated my unique needs and addressed them professionally and with care. How did it go? Splendidly understates.

They did a fast service cleaning and dis-assble and found I needed new bushings for all. The work was done in a timely fashin in this time of pandemic. I found out that the direct replacement for the clock mechanism was no longer manufactured and not available. I ordered a substitute, but it didn't fit; however, clockworks helped me find a replacement that did fit and they sent it out promptly. I found Clockworks to be very helpful, professional & friendly. It was a very good experience.

The new movement I purchased had problems. James from Clockworks tried to help me solve the problems. We couldn't get the movement working. James immediately contacted Hermle. Hermle sent me a replacement movement and paid to return the defective unit. I think you learn more about a company when things go wrong than when everything goes correctly. Highly recommend Clockworks for stellar customer support, price, and speed of delivery. Their website is encyclopedic, and their ability to source mechanisms and other parts seems limitless. I had a rather simple mechanism cleaning in mind for a mantel clock my grandfather built from a kit 40+ years ago. After that didn't work (predictably) they led me through the process of replacing the mechanism, hands, and finally some difficulty I had with synchronizing the chimes and hands, all very quickly. Top-shelf!

I needed a replacement part for a clock. Their selection is outstanding. I ordered the part on a Monday and by Friday I had received my order and installed it. The have a robo assistant who guides you to answers. If it doesn't generate the response you need, it generates an email. I had a response within 24 hours.

I had called this company to ask questions and left voice mails. They called back and said they could not help and hung up. They were very unprofessional. This was for my Seth Thomas clock.
