Design, engineering, installation and repair of solar electric systems (including battery backup) for homes and businesses. Service is available for any system (installed by us or not) and includes solar repair, pest guards, snow guards, system relocation and system appraisals or tune ups (which is particularly useful when selling or purchasing an existing system).

We consider ourselves very lucky for having chosen New England Clean Energy as our solar installer. From the beginning to the end of the project, NECE was responsive, punctual, helpful and very focused on giving us the best - we always felt they put us, their customer, first. We are very happy customers, secure in the knowledge that no matter what issues may come up with our system, NECE is a phone call or an email away, with courteous, prompt answers. It went great. New England Clean Energy installed my rooftop solar in 2014. Everything went as they said it would, including my electric bill savings and SREC checks. The only glitch was during the installation, the panels (on the back of my house) were slightly visible at the top of the roof from the front side. The installers adjusted the panels to make it perfect. Very happy I went solar!

New England Clean Energy installed my panels 7 years ago and I've reduced my annual usage from 9,340 kWh to 930 kWh! Not one problem in 7 years. The professionalism of their crew was extremely good. I highly recommend them.

This company was recommended by a family member who is in the solar installation business, and his recommendation was right on. They have excellent work standards and use high quality products. They are well organized, easy to communicate with, and have delivered on every aspect of their work, even making an extra correction on a detail of installation which may not have been necessary, without charge or resistance. This is the hallmark of a well run company--one which takes pride in its work. Their employees seemed very happy to be working for New England Clean Energy, which again speaks to the quality of the organization. I would recommend them highly.

We bought solar panels through New England Clean Energy this past summer, and they made the process so easy and transparent. We got quotes from NECE and one other company, and found NECE's prices to be much more affordable. Their service - from installation to paperwork to financing to billing - was exceptional at every stage. They were on-time, worked with us to make sure we were happy with the placement and appearance of the panels, and took care of all of the details. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Contact me please for a referral! [email protected] They took way too long from what I can see to install I started in fall and they couldn't start until spring after lots of back and forth We had to change locations and there was a communication break down of where it should be placed but they were accommodating Standard contractor issues I guess

The process was very smooth from start to finish. The NECE team was very knowledgeable about what they do and were very professional throughout the entire process. They took care of the local permits, SREC sign-up, National Grid interconnection paperwork, installation, and showed us how to monitor and maintain the system prior to go-live. They did such a great job that both my sister and one of my good friends have also hired them!

When asked for a quote, they provided a very complete one on what they would and would not do. They arrived early, reviewed the job with us, and got to work. They did everything to the agreement, and left the job site clean and tidy. I would recommend them to do any type of solar install. They knew what they were talking about and did a great job.

The team at New England Clean Energy was an absolute pleasure to work with. The initial proposal was thorough and explained well by Mark, the President of the company. References were provided so that we could get some direct feedback from other customers. Jonathan, the project manager, was on top of everything, providing updates along the way. Phone calls and e-mail messages were returned promptly. The installation crew worked well together and cleaned up after themselves.
The only delay was related to the engineering study to determine whether the roof could support the additional weight of the solar panels. Once we got beyond the engineering study, everything went quickly and smooth. Start to finish, it took just three days to install the panels and complete the electrical work. One week later, after the approval of the local electrical municipality, we were generating solar power.
New England Clean Energy took care of filing for the permit as well as notifying the local electric utility about the solar panel installation. The installation crew even helped us move some heavy furniture during their lunch break.

They were great. They were the only company we interviewed with whom we felt comfortable - the others either didn't know what they were talking about, or seemed dubious in some way. These guys really knew their stuff, spent plenty of time going over options with us, and we felt really comfortable ordering the system through them. They did a wonderful job with site prep and installation. We had absolutely zero problems with them.
