Great. Took less than 30 minutes.

Generally well. Took second visit to get gasket correct.

We had another appliance service out twice. They fixed the symptom but not the underlying cause. Ed condensed what to do to diagnose the underlying cause and he found out what was wrong in a very short time. It's nice after you have another service come out twice and not fix your problem to have your problem fixed.They are about as good as could be.

Have used McPhail for at least ten years. in addition to excellent service, punctuality, they are very well informed about what they are doing and the appliances they are repairing. Highly recommended.

We were very happy with the refinishing and thought they did a great job.  We were happy with the price.  When we scheduled the appointment it was really quick.  Because we had a positive experience with them we went back to them for a refrigerator repair.   It was a positive experience.

McPhail responded to a phone message within an hour, and was there the next day. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem and worked in a professional and courteous manner. We asked about a problem with the controls, and he checked them and ordered a new part (which he did not have in his vehicle) and indicated he would return to replace it without charging a second service call fee. Overall the experience was very good.

Called Macphail Appliance about 11.30 on Aug. 1, got message that they would call back within 3 hours. About 1:00 I got a call back and was told they would be here before 4 PM.  He got here about 3:15 and started working right away. He had to remove the unit from under the counter and turn it on its side and manually raise the pressed down crusher bar and adjust the machine so it would work. He oiled  the wheels and adjusted the trash holder so it worked smoother and easier. it works fine now.

Just what you're looking for. ... they were good at responding to questions too... didn't talk down to me. highly recommended.

Promptly returned my call and scheduled to visit Tuesday AM (currently Friday before long weekend). Arrived on time and quickly got to worked. Appeared thorough in diagnostics and quickly established the starter had failed. He had a replacement in stock in his truck and was able to install there and then. He waited to ensure the oven got up to the correct temperature in the correct time. Very happy with the overall service and cost.

It went well- the repair was made quickly by a very courteous and knowledgeable guy.

Very fast response to phone inquiry. Quick scheduling of repair. Knowledgable service person, solved the problem quickly.

I called McPhails because of their good Angie's list recommendation. They called me right back and Paul came right on time the next day. As I said, he cleaned out the burners and got everything going quickly. I was impressed with his advice on what to do so that I didn't need a bigger, more expensive repair. I wouldn't have known if a part needed replacing so the fact that he didn't put any in made my day!

McPhail service technical returned call with 20-30 minutes of my call, and arrived on-site an hour of my calling. They had the repair done in 20 minutes or so, explained what the problem was, showed me the defect in the stove (corroded ignitor), tested the stove before leaving. About the best most professional, punctual service I can imagine.

I left a message and received a return call w/in an hour. The person who came out was professional; even cleaned up the water that drained out.

Prompt, on time, excellent communication. Attempted to clear the problem first without simply part swapping but the pump was too far gone. Had part the next day and called to say they'd be early on the install the following morning.

I called and they came the next day. It was the day before Thanksgiving. They were on time and did the repair. They were prompt.

It was first rate. They gave me an estimate and were ten dollars under the estimate when I paid. They diagnosed the problem correctly and fixed it. They were courteous and professional, but cool.

I was very pleased. I left a message, received a call back and had my refrigerator door repaired within two hours. I would certainly call them again.

He arrived promptly for the appointment at 8:30 and fixed the problem quickly. He was very pleasant and courteous, even with the attention of three under-fives curious to know what he was doing.

He had a really bad attitude. He told me that it would cost less to buy a new one than it would to fix this one. He was not very pleasant. He did not check the motor out. He just assumed it was bad. He came quickly when I called and he was on time. The price was reasonable, but he just left my dishwasher with all the parts laying inside of it.

This is the second time in less than 1 month that the WONDERFUL people at McPhail appliance have saved my life. I have never had a better experience with any other contractor, or service provider. My washing machine stopped in mid cycle and the tub was filled with water. To further compound matters, I was on vacation and had to return to work the next day. I explained the situation and Mr. McPhail said he would try to come that same afternoon. He arrived less than 2 hours later and worked overtime to finish the repair. I can not say enough good things about them !!!!

If I had to say a place in this area to buy appliances, I would say I'd be inclined to use this company before any others. I have gotten so much stuff from them at really good prices and I just think they're good to their customers. I would send people there to buy any major appliances.

Excellent. They were prompt, courteous, upfront about costs, and did what they said they would ...AND, the washer now works, the best compliment of all.
