The owner of Master Garage was very prompt in contacting me about the job, coming out for the estimate, and following through on doing the job. I was very pleased with the assistance I received on which option was best for what I was trying to accomplish (polyurthane vs epoxy finish), but wish that there had been some color samples to look at to help make a final decision. Overall, I am very satisfied with the process and the job. I chose polyurthane to finish a basement floor and was especially pleased with the repairs made to major cracks present in the floor before the finish was applied. I was a bit surprised that the owner never followed up after the job was done to see for himself how it turned out, but maybe he only does that if the customer calls about any issues or complaints.

Very good communication. Prompt and on time service. Unfortunately end product not as good as expected. If you looking to have your concrete floor finish with Hybrid Polymer think twice. Tom - owner very nice and polite guy. He and crew show up right on time. Looked very promising. So what went wrong? For the money I paid , I was expecting better finishing touch and better end results. Floor is covered but it looks like was done by good amateur not a pro. I think that work was bit rushed at the end , and that is what made it look poorly. PS. Note to owner: Tom , slow down. When you planing to do full day of work - do not rush. After sending old concrete make sure all dust is well cleaned. After you put primer, wait ( then wait again) till is dry before applying polymer. It will save you time ( no call backs - touchups ) and final product will be looking better.

"We see huge variations in the condition of the concrete we process. This was very porous concrete (millions of tiny little holes) which we encounter frequently on residential and commercial projects. The day we processed, there was an incredible thirty degree temperature rise. Air entrapped in the concrete expands when it warms. This created tiny bubbles that were remedied on day two of processing. About one in ten slabs are very porous. ...wife told us up front that husband would be difficult to please but we like a challenge!"

I had an epoxy floor done on my garage and basement floors. The epoxy finish looks great! This was a great alternative to removing the old tile floor and replacing with new. There was a significant savings in time and money. I'm very happy with the results. This a great option for a finished basement floor.

Waiting for company to call for appointment to repair the job that was started, had bubbles in concrete floor .

"As we pulled out of the driveway after a beautiful concrete remediation job followed by coating, water was observed to be flowing down the driveway. Upon hitting the breaks and getting out of the truck, to our horror, Robert was hosing off the driveway with a garden hose. With water dripping off the garage door onto the threshold and mist wafting under the door and onto our moisture reactive 15 minute old floor, we were in shock. Three days later we returned to remedy the floor and re-coat. Robert wrote the following email: "Home Adviser, Please be advised that Master Craft of Marlboro MA had completed the refinish job to our satisfaction. The value and quality was excellent, and I would recommend them for garage resurfacing jobs. Rober XXXX Palmer, MA" Robert must have been concerned that we would not return and immediately wrote this review. Home Advisor posted it about a week after we repaired his damage. ...Robert has been unable to get HA to revise this rating. Please note the irony: we are Master Garage Corporation ...not the boat company MasterCraft"

I hired Master Garage based on the positive reviews on HomeAdvisor, and after Tom came to my house after hours and provided me with a very reasonable quote for grinding and coating the basement floor of my 1864 house. I could tell that Tom takes great pride in his business. Phil did an amazing job coating the floor and filling all holes and cracks. He applied a primer coating, which initially was supposed to be the finish coat. It turned out a bit patchy, and Phil came back the same week to apply a polyurethane top coat to even out the look, without extra charge. The flooring looks amazing. I cannot speak to durability yet, but I have no doubt that Master Garage will come back and fix any problems if they occur. Great customer service!

I hired Tom and his company after seeing all positive reviews in HomeAdvisor, they cleaned my old concrete garage floor and resurfaced it. It took a couple a of days for the floor to dry, and a primer coating was applied, and then the last coating, I learned it is a Polymer. Anyway, the floor looks good and solid afterwards, we have been using it daily now, great job Tom.
