Worse experience ever. Storm door installed incorrectly and had to buy new door and have reinstalled by different company (hole drilled in door in wrong place, j channel ripped off for no reason, trim never reinstalled), 3 interior doors only one correctly. hand rail with balusters had to be removed and new baluster and hand rail built. Because they charged my Lowe's charge card they would not offer refund and said I would have to use same installers before they would review case. Definitely regret using Lowe's installers and will never use them again. .

Awful experience. Installers never called to set up a time to come to my house. I called Lowes and cancelled the installation (I ended up buying the microwave without installation). A week after I cancelled the installation I received a call from Lowes. They had no idea that I cancelled the installation. Gong show.

Went to Lowe's knowing that I wanted to replace my countertops but still undecided about material and color. Salesperson extremely helpful and knowledgeable about different materials and prices. My wife and I finally decided on granite and on a color. Absolutely no pressure from salesperson. After we picked a manufacturer, salesperson suggested a similar top with a different manufacturer at a lower price saving us hundreds of dollars. Papers were signed and my wife and I went home to wait. Lowe's uses Gerrity Stone in Woburn, please see my review of them. They contacted use and sent someone out to measure and install. If I had questions, I called Lowe's, got my salesperson and if she did not know the answer, immediately got back to me.
From time of purchase to time of install, 3 weeks. I was going to have job done by a local installer but was going to have to wait three weeks to have countertops measured.

I am surprised that Lowes is still in business. The one in Hudson is the worst one around. Every time I go there, I have a bad experience and swear I won't go there again. But a month later, I'll try going again anyways, and I'll have yet another bad experience. This time, I definitely won't go back anytime soon. I will find a product online that they are suppose to have in stock, but when I go there to get it, the employees will tell me that the counts are wrong and they don't have it. If I spend enough time there wandering around, I can usually find it myself. The employees are pretty much clueless (when you can find one- they are usually hiding out somewhere.) Home Depot used to be this way a few years back, but they completely changed and are now reasonable good. Lowes on the other hand, has done a complete reversal. They used to be okay, but now they're terrible. Hopefully the management at the corporate headquarters get a clue soon, or Lowes will be a thing of the past!
