I contracted Mr. Evan's at the suggestion of my real estate agent. I had a bathroom that just needed a "lipstick" updating so that I could rent the apartment out. I needed someone who would understand it needed to be bargain basement but nice. He came out for a quote and I pointed out what I wanted done. New toilet, new sink, new faucet, new lighting fixture, new floor, tile... and paint the cabinet. I had someone else come out for a quote and tell me it was a "tear down" and couldn't be done under 10 K.
Estate Services quote was only 2K for labor and materials. I took them up on it and it came out great -- just what I wanted. I was happy. That said, they purchased a toilet that was wayyy too big for the space which I had to point out. By the end of the first day they weren't done so they had to put the old toilet in -- and it ran all night long. But, by the end of the next day they were all done - found a toilet that fit - and they cleaned up after themselves and they threw in some nice baseboard finishing for free.
