The work was delayed and delayed due to "Trump" because they couldn't get visas for their workers. The project manager had no idea what she was doing, the wall was put in wrong, communication was impossible (there was never a response without reaching out many times). Then after many many headaches the work was not the quality we paid for. I would for sure NEVER recommend this company to anyone for anything. I could go on and on but my blood pressure is rising again.

I held off on writing this review but I now see them pulling the same crap with a friend. First off, Ed Medeiros is awful. If he returns your call, he will eventually get you a pretty picture of what your deck will look like. He will not give you the dimensions or square footage though so you don't realize just how small it is until they actually come and put the forms down. At that point though you have already paid a deposit and agreed to a price. So then they try to stick you with another $5000 on top of what you've already agreed to to make it bigger. But had you realized how small it was you probably would have picked somebody else. They did this with me and they also did this with my friend. And by the way don't expect to hear from Ed after you pay your deposit you never will. Their workmanship is awful. They hire a bunch of guys, none of whom speak English. They did a crappy job on my pool. I tried getting someone out to look at it but no one responded. It wasn't until I sent about 15+ emails with pictures and then finally threatened to hire an attorney which I had fully planned to do that the owners actually came out . Then I got a condescending tone from Ed Terra about how it shouldn't have had to come to hiring a lawyer to which I agreed and said you guys should've been out here months ago. They finally addressed The situation but it took about four months, and a huge waste of time and effort to try to get a response. The situation was eventually addressed but it took about four months, and a huge waste of time and effort on my part. They have done the same thing to my friend and now she's considering an attorney. I'm so disgusted by their lack of professionalism- they just don't care about quality - just want their money. This is what you can expect for a $26k job. I only gave them a D because they eventually fixed the problem so they weren't sued. Oh, and they will string you along for 2 months on install date and blame it on weather.

As other reviewers have said, they do great work but they are hard to get hold of and seem to always be over-committed. It takes multiple calls to calls to get them to call back. It's too bad that this lack of responsiveness makes them difficult to do business with. Have had to stop working with them because it's just too aggravating to constantly chase them. When you can finally get them to pay attention and do the work you'll be happy with the finished product, but the amount of time invested in getting them to follow through makes you question if it was worth it to go with them versus a company that is easier to work with.

Mr Terra came to our home multiple times to discuss and plan the project. His team arrived on the date he promised and worked continuously to complete the job. They were very attentive to any questions or requests we had. Pool patio came out beautiful.

We had the pool installed in the fall of 2013 and Dex by Terra installed the pool deck shortly after the installation of the pool. There were delays with the weather which are understandable seeing the installation was in the fall, but all went smoothly in the end. There has been some settling of the sand/ground around the pool deck, which means that there is some movement in the deck which needs to be addressed. We are still in conversation regarding the process to fix this, but it looks like the issue will be fixed in the near future (after many phone calls and emails).
Dex by Terra also installed a lengthy stone sitting wall around the pool. The gentlemen that installed the wall where awesome. The wall gets loads of comments when people see it for the first time. Having said this, the site was never cleaned up properly after the installation process (even after requests to do so). There remains large stones and stone chips over the work site in addition to many metal pins used in the installation of the pool deck.
We also asked for a quote to do the remainig landscape in the back yard - installation of stone steps, grading/leveling and installation of grass. It took Dex by Terra nearly 2 months to come out to view the site again and then a quote took over 2 weeks to come through - even then it was not complete with all the elements that we wished it to include, and it was expensive (more than double what other landscaping companies had quoted). In the end we decided to go with another landscaping company as was apparent that they were to busy to keep existing customer.
Overall their workmanship was good/excellent, but Dex by Terra needs to work on customer service.

They are very competent. They were on time and they did what they said they were going to do. They asked us if they had any questions before they did anything. They were very professional with everything they did. The workers were very good.

Of all the companies I spoke with they were the most responsive. I started in the summer 2007. They sent out a clearly well experienced estimator to show us what was possible, and how much it would cost. We then decided to not proceed at that time because we were considering various different possibilities for our pool deck. During the fall and winter their coordinator (Ruben Rodriguez) kept in touch by phone and email. In the early spring we decided to go ahead after all. Ed Terra himself came out, and looked again at the job, gave us excellent aesthetic and practical advice, and helped us finalize exactly what needed to be done. We were worried about a heavy concrete truck on our driveway paving, and he had the concrete delivered in two smaller lighter trucks at his own expense to ensure that there was no damage. The crew that came out to do the forming was polite and efficient. There was no damage to any of our landscaping, they came when they said they would, and now 2 weeks later the job is completely finished and looks excellent. I could not recommend anyone more highly.
