The sales rep of the company was great. He came out and give us a quote within 24 hours. We went ahead and signed the contract for the services listed above for a bi-weekly mowing, flower bed planting, seeding and loaning in the front lawn and tree trimming in the backyard. Overall the responsiveness of the company is pretty poor even though the pricing was excellent. It's been three months since we signed the contract and the tree trimming still hasn't occurred and the seeding and loaming in the front lawn still hasn't occurred. We have bi-weekly mowing service however for some reason did not come out to weeks ago when they were supposed to and we went four weeks before our lawn was mowed again. For the flower bed planting we made it clear that the front lawn is 6+ hours of direct sunlight however they planted a bunch of shade required flowers which are not doing well. Luckily they did come out to install new plants in replacement of those. When they actually come out to do the work they do a fantastic job so in terms of quality I would highly recommend however due to not knowing when they will come out is part of the big problem with communication with this company. As stated three months in and part of a contractor still unfinished. I've attempted to email our sales rep with no reply. The secretary who answers the phone however is very friendly and helpful. There was no answer as to why our lawn will skipped as part of the bi-weekly rotation for mowing. Due to the communication time issues I would not use this company again however if you were looking for short term work they do offer a good price and the quality of the work is very high once they actually show up

Overall, they do a good job. They did damage the garage with the plow two winters ago. They were resistant to fix it. My husband really had to get on their case and they finally did fix it. It was their plow that hit the garage and the garage door didn't shut right. He finally got them to fix it. But you shouldn't have to go to war with them. The actual plowing is good, but it's another instance where the business part could be better. It took us six month of badgering for them to fix it. They just need to be careful and if they damage someone's property, they just need to make it right. Overall, their quality of work is an "A", but with that instance, it brings their grade to a "C" because of the amount of time we had to wait for them to get it fixed. When it snows, they plow, so their responsiveness on that problem is an "F".

They used to be very, very good, but not anymore. They don't have the best work as they used to have. Mowing the lawn, for example, they make big marks on the ground with the lawn mower just to kill the grass. It's not the same people that they used to. The problem is that you had to ask for what you want with a lot of anticipation because otherwise they have so much work. When you want them to come and do something, they don't have time. They just come and do what they have planned to do in your yard.

Daves has gotten kind of overgrown. I think that sometimes doesn't do smaller type jobs because he is taken by somebody with bigger budget.

The crew was thorough, cutting the lawn twice the first time because it hadn't been cut in a while. When they put us on the schedule, they had us scheduled for 730 in the morning which didn't agree with our family schedule, so they changed it to later in our request. During the fall, they also did a cleanup of the leaves. They did an excellent job with the cutting and edging in the cleanup. The only thing that surprised me, was that for the double cut on the first visit and the cleanup in the fall, they charged me without talking to me first. I would've liked to have been in on the decision since I was paying the bill.

Yard work was done okay. We have had some confusion with scheduling but everything has been done.
Snow removal is haphazard. Some times they arrive with a big truck and can't get close to our structures; sometimes they come with a pickup truck and do an excellent job. Sometimes they shovel walks; sometimes they don't (we prefer they not shovel).
Too many times we aren't sure if they will show up or when. We haven't been plowed when we expect, so we shovel out ourselves to have them show up later. I believe they do a good job with their commercial accounts but as a small home owner I don't find them reliable.

It went pretty good. I have used them for 7 or 8 years. I like what they do. If I don't like what I see I let them know and they come and fix it.

This is our first year contracting with them. They are very good and we are happy with them. They are professional and if they get it wrong, they'll come back and make it right. They are a litle bit more expensive than most but its clearly worth the money. They are open to negotiation. They did not ruin my lawn.

We used Dave's to plow our driveway during the winter season. The quality was poor. At one point, we returned home from vacation to find we could not get into the garage because they had not plowed several feet of snow that was in front of the garage. On other occassions the plowing was sloppy and with lumps of snow scattered around our driveway. We would not use this service again.

As for the weekly lawn mowing, they are exactly what one would expect. They are there every week, do a professional job and we have had no problems throughout the entire season. The other agreed upon services didn't go exactly as we anticipated. They came out very early in the season to give us an estimate for weeding, mulching and grass seeding. It took so long for them to come out and perform the services that it was actually to hot out for the seeding to be done. The weeding, which was very expensive, wasn't even close to what was expected. We actually had to do most of it ourselves the weekend before they came to install the bark mulch. The mulch itself was blown in, which only gives you a very thin layer of mulch and doesn't do much in the way of weed control.

It went well. They were punctual and did a good job.

. Have been trying to get my spring cleanup done but customer service and communication is horrible! They are prompt when trying to sell you something and billing but that's about it. I even spoke to the billing department and gave credit card for payment which was never applied and I received a new bill with finance charges. I am sorry I signed a contract which had to be done online and did not work properly. I am actively looking for someone else for these services once my contract is up.

The clean up wasn't what I thought it would be, what we agreed to. I'm going to have a little bit of an issue with that. As far as the mowing goes, the guys are great and they walk around with me and show me this or show me that. They're friendly guys. They do their job. I know they'll fix whatever happened last week with the clean up.

I have been very satisfied with their lawn mowing service. Their employees are punctual and do a nice job.

Very well. Most pleasant person to deal with.

We were looking for a company to do weekly lawn mowing. Several companies we called either didn't respond or didn't show up for an estimate. Staff with Dave's were responsive, showed up as planned and have been doing the mowing for several weeks now. We are happy with the mowing. We haven't used them for other landscaping services, so we can't speak to their other services.
