Do not get your Mini serviced at this garage! I had them do a simple oil change for my Mini Cooper ($108). They topped off the coolant The heater stopped working and then the engine started overheating so I brought it to the dealership in NH because the car was still under warranty. Mini told me that whoever had serviced my car used the wrong coolant and did not put the cap back on correctly so the coolant had flown out of the car. Mini re-did the oil change for free to put in Mini parts and had to perform a coolant flush - $145. Mini suggested I present the bill to the garage. I asked Bolts to do the right thing, honestly thinking that they would, but they refused to take responsibility. Completely dishonest. I would never trust them with my vehicle!

"Hi, I just wanted to respond to this review. I do understand your frustration with your car breaking down. It is very possible that we had left the radiator cap off or loose and if that was what the dealership or you had told me I would have 100% made it right by you. As a repair shop accidents do happen and I stand behind the repairs made by any of my technicians or myself. But, the dealership told me someone had added aftermarket coolant and you reiterated the same thing to me. Do to those facts I determined that my shop was most likely not at fault. As most anyone that knows me and my shop knows that I only buy fluids from the dealer and parts that are OEM. I do not get into aftermarket or performance parts or fluids unless customers request and then only occasionally at best. I have turn away many repair jobs that owners only wanted the cheapest parts and likely inferior quality used. That is to say, we would have only used Genuine Mini coolant so I deemed that we could not have caused the issues you had. But, as owner I could still have help out but for the fact that you repeatedly swore at my service manager and she had to hang up on you after asking you not to use foul language multiple times. I would rather have a bad review than let that happen to one of my employees. I do hope that you were able to get the Mini repaired and that you have not had any other issues with it. These guys are the greatest. They specialize in BMWs. They fixed the engine oil leak I had on my 2003 BMW for a fraction of what others had quoted me to fix it. Ditto with respect to the other things they did (i.e., $375 for replacement of front control arm bushings vs $640 which is what BMW service wanted; $90 for 4-wheel alignment vs $110-120 elsewhere, etc.) The work they did on my car was first-rate. I also found Dave to be friendly/trustworthy/honest. Plan to use them whenever I need service on my car in the future.
