John was recommended to me by a carpenter friend of mine. He matched the lowest estimate I'd received. At every step of the process John was accommodating and easy-going. He answered all my questions. The blueboard was delivered and placed into the garage by the supply company. John and his associate John (yes, both John) came by the next day and moved everything to the basement for the board hangers. The board hanging was subbed out to another small crew of a couple of guys that knocked out the whole basement in about six hours, including almost 50 recessed fixtures and 30 outlets/switchboxes. The plastering work lasted about 10 days, with work going from around 7:30 to 2:30 every day. There was some intricate work in a small alcove with a curved pedestal. The plastering job is nice and smooth with that kind of smooth, shiny finish you only get from guys who know what they're doing.
Description of Work: Hang blueboard and skim coat plaster 900 sq ft basement walls and ceiling, approximately 76 4x8 sheets, plus various patching throughout the home.
