American Climbers

Could not have gone easier. Called a couple of companies to get quotes, American Climbers came in a little bit less than the others so made our choice easy. We had scheduled them for a Wednesday morning, they called Monday afternoon and said they could actually come a day early if we could accommodate it. Said of course since we wanted to get the debris in our yard and the damaged tree still standing removed ASAP. They arrived at 7am with a crew of five or six guys and got right to work setting up the crane, the bucket truck, and the other equipment. The crew did a great job communicating the plan with us and executing it. We live in a small neighborhood so had a lot of neighbors coming by to watch and the crew handled it all in stride. Would highly recommend!

After a major storm took down my front tree I called and they responded right away and came the following day. By then the town had cut up the tree and left it on my property. There was major tree damage around my property so I got an estimate to finish on March 9th. There was a subsequent blizzard that left two feet of snow on my property. Right after the blizzard they just showed up to finish pruning and cleaning up. The estimate included "full-rake-blow down". How were they going to do that with two feet of snow. The branches were stacked up three feet high and I wanted to make sure all the branches were removed. I sent them away and had to wait two months for the work to be completed. Communication is not their thing. It took three emails and a phone call to get Rich to call me back. The estimate was prepared on March 9th. The final work was performed May 8th. I think they did a good job but I am someone who needs to have better communication than this. Other staff at American Climbers could have called me back and in fact did on May 9th when they made a mistake on the agreed upon time to come to my property.

Work done on time for reasonable price. Hired after my former tree company could give me no date for the stump grinding after it had missed a date it had earlier offered. American Climbers responded efficiently.

Took down trees quickly and removed debris.

Due to the storm they were really backed up (storm in February called them in April, trees done in June) Price was a bit high but not sure if that was industries standards. The men who came were friendly and professional and did a great Job. I would recommend them

American Climbers responded to my phone inquiry within less than 24 hrs. They came promptly, on time, to review and quote the job. The job involved removal of 1 tree that was touching electrical and broadband wires, and 3 trees that were very close to the wires. They came on time for the job, worked efficiently and carefully with no problems, and did a thorough job of clean up. I had been concerned about the wires and possible damage, but they removed the trees without touching the wires. I definitely recommend American Climbers.

This is the 3rd (or 4th?) time we've used American Climbers. They're a pleasure to work with. The have the right equipment to do the job right. And I swear they're cheaper than any big or small outfits. After removing 4 large pines by carrying them over our house last year, in barely over an hour, the crew captain said "yep, with a million dollars worth of equipment here, you can do anything". This job was one XXL maple, another small maple, and other trimming

Work done by skilled climbers with care not to damage roof or lawn. Am using them again for more work.

I signed up with American Climbers and they were able to get the job done within two weeks. Professional in every level from employees to equipment. They removed 13 trees in one day. I would definitely use them again.

The crew was incredibly thorough and professional, with 5 guys, each one focusing on a different task. They directed traffic on our busy "cut-through" street, didn't let one branch hit the ground for more than 5 seconds, thoroughly cleaned up, and didn't impact any electrical/cable wires that the tree was surrounding. Even came back to cut the branches down to size, as my husband had originally wanted, when they forgot to do it day off. Neighbors on our street even came over to comment that they had never seen such a professional crew for tree removal (and it was a spectacle, as we are on a super busy street and it was a massive Maple tree).

American Climbers is fantastic. This was our second time using them. I have shopped around and they are by far the most experienced, professional, efficient crew and the best price. Today they showed up at 7am and were gone by 930am, leaving the place spotless (OK, there's some sawdust that blew onto my roof, but they couldn't very well take the leaf blower up there to remove! :) They do a job the right way, with the right eqiupment, and are just a pleasure to work with. American Climbers provided excellent service with friendly, courteous workers for our tree-removal project. The rep gave us an estimate within a week of our request. One of the trees was in an area to be trenched for an upcoming project involving several other contractors. That work was on hold until the tree work could be completed. Immediacy was an important consideration for us to keep the project moving forward. We were scheduled for a few weeks later. An earlier opening appeared on their schedule, the owner came out to look at the project, and told us that it could be done the following day. We were lucky and grateful that they accommodated us promptly. The team arrived bright and early, set up their equipment, and started by 8:00. Branch, stump, and tree removal proceeded in a meticulously organized and efficient manner. Their robotic arm seemed fairly quiet as it was carefully guided into tight spaces, gradually removing sections of the trees. Attention to detail was evident regarding equipment set-up on our property, as well as yard and street clean-up after completion of the project.

These guys are professionals. They know what they are doing. John came out to take a look and give an estimate. He was very thorough and knew what to look for. Their estimate was a bit higher than some others and they also did not have immediate availability. I got quotes from some other companies who in one case quoted nearly half. However, most of them either did not respond after evaluating the situation or did not respond after giving a quote. American Climbers is the only company which assessed the work, gave an immediate quote, adhered to a plan/timeframes and got the job done. They are thorough, knowledgeable, efficient and confident. On the designated day, the crew set up their crane and took the cable OVER the house. The cut trees were lifted either by the side, or over the house. All through, the crew worked together like a well oiled machine. At the end, I understood why they charge higher. Its worth it to see such a professional crew do their work with passion, knowledge and efficiency. I would strongly recommend them.

American Climber's were great, I referred them to a few of my friends. Excellent communication and work was done on time. Very competitive in terms of cost. Overall, a very good experience.

I had an enormous oak tree, approximately 110 yrs old that needed to come down. Unfortunately, the proximity to the house and low hanging wires on the street that branches had grown around made it a tricky and potentially dangerous job. The date and time was agreed to and his team showed up on time and ready to work. The crew was extremely professional and clearly new their job very well. They worked very well together, very considerate of my property and taking care to not damage any of my gardens, lawn, etc. This job I was certain would take all day, however they disassembled the tree with such precision that they were able to complete the job, and clean up all the debris and pulled out in just under 3 hrs time. Amazing really. Rich you have an amazing crew and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree service of any kind. You won't be disappointed.

Great experience!  Before we started the work, we got a bunch of quotes from other arborists that ranged from expensive to crazy expensive.  John from American Climbers was our project manager and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the same scope, and I'm confident the quality was as good if not better as the other guys.  There were no surprise expenses.  They even came back several times to finish some small stuff that got missed on the first day without any questions asked.

They worked with us in expediting our service date to coincide with some excavation by the gas utility, and finished the job before noon on our actual date, even arriving a few minutes early that morning.  The crew (led by Rick) were all very friendly and professional, and they made sure they were working on the right vegetation before they got started.  They set up a large truck crane safely in our driveway, and arrived with enough equipment to process the trees assembly-line style.  It was neat to watch!

It was great!  Johnny came out to give us an estimate.  The price was excellent.  He explained that they were very busy due to the recent storms.  They were able to schedule a little faster than originally expected.  They let me know 5 days  before they came out.  On the day they came right on time in the morning, and a crew of three worked all morning to cut and remove the trees.  They were careful with the large equipment to avoid damage to the lawn, and they really did an excellent job of cleaning everything up when they were done.

Everything was excellent, they did a great job. They were neat and timely and I felt that the price was very fair compared to other prices I had recieved. They were very professional.
