Jay was fantastic. He was able to come over the very next day, which was great because the piano was free (in desperate need of tuning) and my daughter was dying to use it for her lesson that night. Jay was kind, thorough, explained everything clearly, and played a few songs at the end of the tuning. He’ll be coming back for some follow up work in a few weeks, and we’re looking forward to seeing him. It was a great experience. Side note - before Jay came over I asked my daughter’s piano studio manager if she knew of him. She said that he’s been around for a long time and has a great reputation.

Everything turned out well. Jay contacted us right away to set up an appointment, he arrived on time, and he provided additional recommendations without pressuring us to make a decision. He even stayed a bit longer at no extra charge which we appreciated.

Jay was great. He was responsive and professional. He showed up on time and spent what seemed to be an extra amount of time late on a Friday afternoon to make sure the piano was tuned and cleaned to his liking. I'll use him again.

Jay did an outstanding job. I purchased an Angie's list deal to have my piano cleaned and tuned. The piano had not been used or tuned in many years and had spent some time in storage. The keys were sticking and it was unplayable. Jay pulled apart the whole piano only to find that the mice had stored peanut shells inside it. It was a huge job to clean it but he did and then later tuned my piano beautifully. He went way above what I would have expected him to do. I am glad we found him and will certainly recommend him and will use his services again. It was a pleasure doing business.

Jay was punctual and professional, as always. We have used him for several years, except one year when we hired someone else and were less than thrilled with the results. We have learned our lesson and would not have anyone else work on our piano.

Jay came first in Dec., 2013 and spent over two hours tuning and fixing keys that were sticking. Because my piano was so badly out of tune, he recommended a follow up visit in Jan. 2014. This was a much shorter visit, approximately an hour. Now I am on schedule for a regular annual tuning.

His prices are fair, he is very professional, and he knows what he is doing. He works for himself and he actually stayed longer than he was suppose to.
