Don't ever bring your pet to this loser. She is cold, uncaring, and incompetent. After going there 8x in 18 months and always getting a appointment that day or the next, I needed bloodwork done for surgery. I called on Tues and FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER they couldn't get me in until Friday. I agreed and made the appointment. Then after thinking about it I called back the next day and I said since I had just been with her if I have to pay a office fee just for a blood draw? They said the policy is 30 days and if over that A fee would be charged. Then when she checked the records that Friday was 31 days so I will be charged. A simple tech visit and these greedy people needed that $60 so bad they lied and connived to make me wait until day 31 so they could charge me. Many other reviews mention older pets and her answer is to euthanize them with the excuse "he is dieing, he's old" with no clear diagnosis or tests, just her twisted hunch that euthanasia is the treatment. Too many others found tick diseases, and underlying TREATABLE health issues after he recommendation to euthanize them. Luckily they sought out competent advice instead of listening to "Dr Rude" or should I say NOT listening since she is so far above you she will try not to speak to you directly or her ketamine induced haze becomes evident. Avoid this monster.

The WORST. Even the staff says they don't understand why Dr. Henderson talks to people so mean and nasty, but they can't do anything about it. My dog is dyng, in pain. They said I had to find a mask and gloves to be with my dog as they euthanize him. I turned western Mass upside down, found such, and NOW THEY WON'T DO IT. Just because Dr. Linda Henderson and I personally dislike each other. Last year, when my dog was 9, he got sick. On the floor, racing heartbeat, fever. It was two days before my paycheck and I was broke and THEY WOULDN'T SEE ME. Nine years they took care of him and without $50 up front, THEY WOULDN'T HELP MY SICK DOG. He survived that time. This time he won't and now I am calling, calling, lots of strangers to help euthanize my dog whi is IN PAIN RIGHT NOW.

The doctor and staff are very professional and extremely caring. Always very responsive when we needed emergency care during office hours and they make sure patients know who to contact after hours for emergencies. They are also as respectful as possible of expenses.

When we put them down, they understand that we want to be there when the cat goes to sleep. It’s not painful, they just close their eyes then they give them a shot of potassium to stop the heat and they’re gone. Our animals don’t suffer. When they reach the point where they are suffering we don’t keep them around because we want to be there. It was $90 for the cremation and the urn. They did a super service for us. I was just looking at the frames on my ceiling. We have a frame for each cat when we put them down with pictures of their life from when they were kittens all the way up till when they passed away. We have maybe a dozen pictures with big frames.

We?ve had cats most of our lives and we have always gone there. We are happy with them. They do everything. They operate, they neuter cats. They had minor surgery that she does. I think there is another doctor that she uses on real serious surgeries. It?s not that she can?t do it, it?s just that she doesn?t have the facilities for that type of thing. It was $90 for the shots and $20 or $25 for trimming their nails and just checking them out. They didn?t have to do anything and there was no medicine involved. It was just an annual checkup. 



I have been to other veterinarians and I feel real safe bringing my pets there. The others weren?t really interested, it was like casual. I don?t go for that. My cats are important, they are part of my family. They all are. One I have her ashes in a urn on top of my bookcase. That is how serious we are with our animals. They are very caring with my animals. You can tell by the way they handle them, they like animals, they treat them well.

I found Dr. Henderson very professional and knowledgeable. She is friendly and has a good way of making pets feel comfortable when they are frightened. My only complaint, which is minor, is that there is a pet odor in the waiting area.

My dog that I had been bringing to this vet for 10 plus years was very sick and when I called to come in at once because he seemed so unresponsive was told that because I did not have a appointment I should take my dog to a emergency vet 15 miles away. Reason did not have a appointment and the office was full. My dog died while we are driving thru rush hour traffic to another town 20 minutes away. Could she have saved my dog? I don't know and will never know because she would not even try. Its a great place as long as nothing really goes wrong and you just need the standard shots and check-up. If it gets complex and requires a skilled diagnosis go somewhere else.

They're gentle with the animals. If they have an animal that's uptight, they'll give them a sedative before they do anything. They take everything into consideration. Their prices are very good, too. Anytime I take my pet in because I think something might be wrong, they respond quickly. I had my pet stay overnight one time because it was having a problem and I was satisfied with that.

Last visit went well,took in in right away without appointment .

Staff was friendly. Vet was quick with exam, but answered questions for us as we asked them.

I've been with them for over 35 years and they are the most fantastic veterinary group in the valley. Their prices are excellent. They are very responsive, punctual and professional. I would continue to use them in the future.

Our Family has used them for more than 30 years. Dr Henderson is kind, expert and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and use this vet.

Our Maltese is 13 yr old and has been going to Dr. Linda Henderson since he was 1 year old. He loves her and gives her a kiss when he sees her. She is excellent with him. Our cat (14 y.o.) goes there, too. Dr. Henderson is very calm and good with the animals and owners. She is down to earth and does not go overboard with expensive testing like some vets. She is someone you totally trust. She is excellent at surgery and dental surgery. Her price for dental extractions and cleaning was very reasonable compared to what other friends have paid at other vets. The only "down side" is that if you have an" after hours" problem, you have to go to one of two local vet E.R.s, but most vets have the same policy. (She does have Saturday a.m. office hours, however). Several of our friends have switched their pets to Dr. Henderson, and they have all been very happy. We think she is the best!!
