About us
Two partners, No employees. 35 and 25 years experience. All work done in-shop, with exception of electro-plating. We are a full service piano repair shop. We specialize in a conservative restoration process that concentrates on the preservation and reuse of as many original wooden parts as possible. This is a labor intensive regimen, and is most appropriate for instruments of great value and/or historical significance. With this we can say that your 100 year old Steinway is truly a 100 year old Steinway. We, of course, also offer all the standard parts-replacement based repairs, including new actions and soundboards. We refinish pianos in lacquer. New Pearl River uprights are offered as an option for beginning pianists, as we can no longer provide student-worthy used uprights at an economical price.
