Six months later, we had frozen pipes in our kitchen. I called Eric, who essentially put himself on call for us. He didn't want us to spend the money if we didn't need to, so he told us what we could do on our own and kept in touch, and said he'd stand by and get to our house quickly if we ended up needing his assistance. We didn't ultimately need him to come out, but we'll definitely call them again for future plumbing work.
Received call-back next morning after leaving initial message in late afternoon. Scheduled appt for estimate for the next day. At end of appt, he sat in truck and hand-wrote an estimate, brought it in and briefly reviewed. Later that day, decided to hire and left message. Didn't know if price was competitive, but anxious to complete "home to-do" list items, and tired of playing phone tag with other companies, so took chance on hiring based on referral and good review from next door neighbor. (Price seems very expensive but at completion, very pleased with work, so hopefully was worth cost.) Job was scheduled for 6 days later.
Like with Precision Tile, seldom seen, paid less than original quote. Wanted to move dryer to new location, so had asked if they could cut a new hole through the side of the house in basement, and install a new dryer exhaust, including materials needed. On actual job day, on closer inspection, Eric saw that there actually was enough room in the dropped ceiling space to run ducting to the new location. We were going to do the inside ducting, and I had asked them to do the exterior cutting and connections through the wall. The existing exhaust was color-matched to the vinyl siding and much nicer than the standard dryer exhaust kit as well, so we decided to drop that work from the job, saving that itemized cost. Also, I noticed before they came to do the job, that the one of the tubes from the furnace (or whatever) going into a drain pipe under the basement utility sink was bent/kinked. I asked if he could put a bigger pipe there. He fixed the problem at no cost by installing an increaser fitting a few days later, when I came back to replace a tank-to-bowl gasket in the master bath toilet (that was needed and he didn't have at the original appt).
Highly recommend! Quality professional work! Even put on shoe cover when came to do estimate since boots wet from rain!
