I've taken two classes with MFS. Last winter I took the basic firearms class necessary to obtain a LTC. Very good class with live fire training and fantastic advise on navigating the permitting process.
Last week I went for some range time and signed up online for "Private Range Time with MFS Instructor." The instructor I worked with was very professional and knowledgeable. I'm a novice to firearms and the instructor validated my questions and offered very good advice.
I like that they offer a wide range of firearms that you can use on the range (free of charge if you're a member), giving you the ability to try a number of weapons prior to making a purchase.
The Pro Shop was convenient, though somewhat limited in inventory. The prices all seemed fair to me.
I paid $250 for a 12 month membership which gives unlimited access to the range, and reduced rates for classes you register for ($20 off a $100 class - $80, and $30 off classes over $100). The one-on-one time on the range for non-members is $65 for non-members and $39 for members.
You'll have to do the math for yourself to decide if the range membership is going to be worth your while. If you opt not to sign up for the membership the cost of the range time is $25/hr and the use of their weapons is $10/weapon.
Relaxed staff, yet very professional, they take their jobs seriously, but without any arrogant attitude.
As I said before, I'm new to firearms, but my two experiences with MFS has only been positive.

I can't think of specific things that I like about them, it's just that, they're straight forward. The teachers are definitely knowledgeable and professional.

They are close by. They have a wide range of weapons. They have larger doors of shooting range. They have "try before you buy" option.
