Throughout the process, Joy worked with her husband Mike, a former contractor, as part of a realty team.  This gave us the added advantage of having a contractor's perspective on the good and bad aspects of houses during "walk-through's".  They were both very experienced, knowledgeable, helpful, and detailed.  Joy was a take-charge, no nonsense person who communicated very professionally with other realtors during the search process.  When we found the house we loved, she was a reliable source of information about the house, the area, and comparable houses. We feel confident that the house we have purchased is a sound investment.  They also gave us referrals for a real estate attorney, lending broker, and contractor, which we found to be helpful.  Also, this realtor is paid by the seller, so although we signed an agreement when we began searching for houses, we paid them nothing.  Great experience buying our first (and possibly forever) home!
