Landscaping
We were not happy with them. We used him last fall after going through several other landscapers and he seemed very good. We tried to get prices for some major work, it was like pulling teeth to get prices out of him. He called and said he wanted to do our spring clean-up (supposed to be an hourly basis). While he was here, he said he would fix our irrigation system, he came in and then said he needed to go and get some mulch. He was here for 7 hours and charged me $3,300 dollars. He charged me the hourly rate for the spring clean-up for the hole 7 hours, then basically triple billed me for labor. The problem was he quoted us separate prices for different jobs, but ended up just making it an umbrella charge under the spring clean-up price. 7 hrs of labor, 3 guys at this much an hour and then billed us for the irrigation system separate. Then he charged us for the laborers, claiming he had more workers than he ever had.

I spoke with Dan about getting some men to clean up my yard, which had become quite overgrown, in part because I will not use chemicals to deter weeds. He said his men were busy and he would have to fit it in between other jobs. It took some weeks before he called to say they were coming in several days. They arrived early, were respectful about what I wanted done - .e.g. weeds dug up from the roots rather than simply broken off with the roots still in the ground, e.g.2 not disturbed the several kinds of ground cover or the two large horseradish plants. They were polite and quiet, and worked steadily and effectively all day. When they were done, my yard looked better than it had in several years.

ENJOYED WORKING WITH THEMES WILLING TO BE FLEXIBLE WHEN NEEDED. GOOD ADVICE THROUGHOUT PROJECT. FRIENDLY AND HARDWORKING. WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN. YOUNG COMPANY, HARD WORKING, PERSONABLE. AS WITH ALL CONTRACTORS, BE EXPLICIT WITH EXPECTATIONS AND DON'T ASSUME THEY KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. CEMENT SLAB UNDER DECK; ONE GARDEN BED NEEDS ADDITIONAL WORK DUE TO BEING TOO ROCKY (RELATED TO WALL WORK).
