It was a good experience with them. They were just quick and clean, and they performed the job as they said they would. The owner was really pleasant to work with.

I highly recommend Guy and his team at Affordable Mold Removal. First, Mike came out to check out the roof to give an estimate on the cost. He was actually early, and I was the one that was late! He was very cool, and took a quick look and that was it. I received a quote that was extremely reasonable from Guy (the owner) later that night. Much cheaper than some of the other quotes received. They were able to turn around and perform the work 2 days later with no problems as well. The team showed up, 5 or 6 guys, and had everything taken care of in just a few hours. Great guys, friendly and outgoing. They cleaned the mold in the walk-up attic, added added soffit vents to the back of the roof and even added a few to the front at no extra cost! They also cleaned all of my ducts in the house, as we recently bought from a seller whose standards of hygiene were... not so good. Guy came out to walk me through the house, chat a bit, make some suggestions and observations, and also offer some recommendations based on what they found. He is an extremely friendly and nice person (trying to avoid using guy so much because that's his name)! I will definitely use Guy and Affordable Mold Removal when I have a ridge vent installed. They were the best, and most of all: honest, friendly, and care about their clients!

It is great to see the team work hard, and then clean up the work site. There was a question about the strapping being removed from our horse hair ceilings. Even though it was more work, he recommended removing it also, and keeping it clean. That was very good advice, and we are happy he was sincere about this advice.

On very short notice Guy came over and gave me an estimate and within 4 days the work was done. Everyone I talked to was very professional and responsive and they did a great job. I would definitely recommend!

The team was perfect.  They walked me through the process, made suggestions and worked around my schedule.  I would recommend AMR to anyone that has a need for mold removal.  I'm sure you'll be as pleased as I am.

Affordable is the right name for this company. They were way more affordable than the other quote that I got through Angie's List. This one also had a coupon that made the discount even better. So my total would have been $2000, but they took it down to $1450. 
Guy was professional and friendly upon assessing the basement. He had his crew out within a few days to complete the work. The crew were fine, but not the most professional team I've seen. Nice, but loud and a little messy. They went through the boxes stored on my shelves to check for mold. A lot of the boxes were left sitting all over the basement. They also did the same with the children's toys. They missed a few items that should have been cleaned, but overall they took care of the mold.
 They team left the air scrubber overnight to help clear up any mold that could be in the air. The next day someone arrived to pick it up. It was his first day- he really had no idea what he was doing. But at least all he had to do was remove the machine and the plastic that was sealing off the area.

I was in a bind, my closing date got moved up and we found mold in my attic.  I called Guy and asked when he could provide the work.  He said three weeks.  I said, how about by next Wednesday.  Guy was able to fit me in (on a Saturday!) and get the work done and mold certificate to me in time.
VERY happy with the work and will definitely recommend in the future.

Our washing machine flooded our basement on a Sunday night so I immediately called Guy who had previously done terrific work addressing some mold issues for us in our attic. Guy had his team at our home first thing Monday morning to dry out the area (including the carpet) and strip out the damaged ceiling and tiles.  A week later his crew replaced the tiles and insulation.  His timely response to our problem saved our carpet and made the whole process so easy.  He and his crew were professional, timely and highly responsive.  The overall work was done very well and at a reasonable price. 
I would call Guy in a heartbeat for any issue I thought he could help with.  In fact, this past winter, when we had a minor roof leak and I couldn't reach my roofer during the crazy winter storms, he was willing to come over the next day to look at our leak but my roofer ended up getting back to me before Guy came by. 

The person who performed the service was not certified.  When I called, they said the company is certified but the workers were not. The workers saw an old stain on the ceiling, without checking with me, they demolished horsehair and plaster from 1925 resulting in my needing to replaced my entire ceiling costing me another $1200 to replace the ceiling. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They misrepresent themselves.

The total amount of work took 2 full and 2 half days for 2-4 workers.  The crew was polite and hard working and we felt very comfortable asking questions.  The amount of demolition was significant, but there was absolutely no sign of it when they were done.  Everything was terrific.  The ceilings were quite old, so it took some careful work to make them look like new, but they were thorough and did a great job.
The only minor problem was that it was a busy summer for mold work so it took a few weeks to get the work started, and we decided not to have all of the work done in our original estimate because some of the damage was minor and it would have been too disruptive.  I wish I had taken the time to get Guy Oliver, the owner, to revise his estimate based on the reduced work before the work was done. In the end the price was very reasonable, but I'm not sure he was happy with the outcome.

The provider completed all of the work in a timely and professional manner. I will be interested to see things this winter to ensure ventilation has been improved. However, the provider did everything promised and was excellent to deal with.
