Darren, of Barrington Painters, is by far the best painter I’ve worked with. We moved recently and had him paint several rooms in our house. The combination of his professionalism and skills are top notch. Beyond his great work, Darren is very friendly and personable. We will work with Darren for all of our future painting needs.

Darren arrived with everything he needed for the job, including water and solution to remove the paste from the wall after removing a wallpaper border. He is very self-contained, punctual and professional. His work is extremely neat, all furniture was covered with drops he supplied. The job was finished within the time frame Darren gave me. Excellent paint job.

Excellent experience. Darren was in touch right away and was able to provide a fair estimate that very evening. The work was scheduled at our convenience and was completed over a long weekend. AMAZING! Darren was the ultimate professional: on-time, clean (meaning daily clean up), responsive and very meticulous in his work. He even did some things (like caulking the baseboards - hadn't been done) that were not in the original quote because he saw they needed doing. And he is the nicest guy. There was no paint on the floor, baseboards, ceilings or anywhere else it shouldn't be - very clean edges - and all the seams where the two colors joined are absolutely perfect. He took the time for prep work (including sanding some areas) and it shows.

Darren is the best! He's professional, thorough, and proactive. He was flexible in scheduling and gracious when I changed my paint choices last minute, and when we asked him to try to minimize paint fumes to the rest of the house while painting our master. He happily made every effort to execute on our request. I work from home, and he was obviously trying to be quiet and considerate. Genuinely a talented, hardworking, nice person. We had a few quotes before we hired him, and we are so glad that we picked Darren.

Went very well. Darren completed the job on time and the quality was top notch. They even painted 6 or 7 doors to match the trim. Would definitely hire again!

Darren provided excellent service. He was always on time and worked a full day. He is very responsible and trustworthy. My husband and I were at work while Darren was painting and we never felt uneasy about him being alone in our home. Would definitely hire Darren for any future painting work we may have.

Darren did an excellent job and completed the job in a day and half. I was astounded by the amount of work he got done in such a short amount of time. The work was excellent.
