I was extremely pleased with this job. Working with Frank was very easy. Whatever he said would be done was done when he said it would be done. Workers were clean and tidy, small, expected hiccups were addressed timely and within budget. I would definitely hire them again and recommend to others. I have hired REI Roofing for other jobs in the past, but this one was the biggest. Owner Nick Kazolias explained all my options , and all his suggestions completely. The crew arrived on time, and ready to work both days. During the work, they where professional, polite and respectful of my neighbors property as well. The crew Forman, Lee, kept me informed as to the progress of the project and could not have been nicer. When ic came time for cleaning up my property, the same level of professionalism was applied, and they left my property spotless. The finished job looks fantastic! My wife and I could not be happier, and would absolutely recommend REI to any homeowner in need of roofing/window/siding work.

I was really excited that they were able to do the work before the scheduled 2 week appointment, and they came the next day! By the time I got home from school, the entire project was completed!!! So, no more squirrels were able to access my attic, which they'd been enjoying for a good part of the winter! I never thought I could be so excited about getting a roof patch! REI is a top notch company. They have done work for me in the past (replacement gutters) with the same excellent results. Every crew member is a great representative for this company and exemplifies the work ethic passed onto him by the owner. Their attention to detail and ability to keep me informed throughout the process was exceptional. I would recommend REI to anyone who needs roofing or siding.

Work included removal of all slate shingles, underpayment, flashing, and install composite water/ice shield and composit underpayment, flashing, shingles, and new ridge vents, attic exhaust fan. Product quality and install were excellent.with 50 yr unlimited warranty on shingles and 20 years on labor. Owner Nick Kazolias was very responsive to meeting all my requests, especially the urgency to replace roof after interior water damage occurred during the Oct/Nov rainstorms. He provided a very detailed proposal that was very impressive and complete. Work started on time and ended on time. Cleanup was thorough. Workers were always on time and the work process very efficient. Nick had an on site manager overseeing all aspects of the project, and was the point person for communications for us and the work team. Nick delivered on all commitments and used top quality products. He provided impressive product brochures for all materials used. I would highly recommend REI Roofing for any roofing project, including repairs.

REI is a high quality, trust-worthy company - I recommend them all the time to friends and family. My family and I have worked with them on several jobs. Nick - the owner - is a great person to work with - highly responsive, puts you in front seat, and ensures that all concerns addressed and clear so everyone is comfortable with the job prior to and throughout moving forward. All work was done in a professional manner. The workers arrived when they said they would, and were very good at communicating with us. Everything looks great, and they did a fine job of cleaning up afterward. I would recommend REI for any roofing work you need done, but particularly slate and copper roof work.

Whenever I’ve hired a contractor to do significant work on my home, there is a bundle of worries that plague my mind throughout the process. Will the job be done carefully and correctly by skilled people? Will they take forever to start the job? Will they disappear for days or weeks mid-project without finishing? Will it be stressful having people at my home when I am not there? Will I overpay? REI seriously put all my fears to rest from the first phone call through till the final product was complete. First, they were extremely easy and pleasant to communicate with. When I first called to inquire about a multi-part, complicated project I needed done on two roofs at my home, they returned my call within a day. They were honest, clear and forthcoming about what the project entailed, when they would be able to start and how long it would take to complete. They gave an estimate for the work and in the end stayed right within the amount we had discussed. Even when a couple of changes occurred mid-project on my end, they were flexible, patient, and stayed within budget. They were available to me by phone, email, text and in person whenever I needed something or had a concern. The owner Nick and sales manager Rick had a lot to deal with from this nervous customer who knew what she wanted but had trouble explaining it. They made suggestions and brought up things I hadn’t thought of. Every time I spoke to either of them on the phone I felt relieved and confident that we had chosen the right roofer. Then we have the guys who were here doing the actual work. I have honestly never dealt with more polite, friendly and hard working people. Mike was in charge of much of the on-site work on the roof, and he is such an effective communicator and the whole crew did beautiful work. Dino had amazing attention to detail and was careful to ask how I liked how things looked as the project was ongoing. My neighbors even commented about how, one day when they REI crew wrapped up for the day before I got home from work, they were impressed by how much time the crew spent cleaning up the site, making sure that my driveway and yard had no debris, etc. They were awesome. The finished product looks beautiful and the amount we spent for this project was very reasonable and money well spent. Over the past week I’ve had three different friends notice the REI truck at my house and told me they used them to and raved about their work and their exemplary customer service. Finally, as a teacher in town and a parent of a South Middle School student, I can say that even before I called REI for my home I was impressed with how they moved quickly into action this past winter when Braintree Schools had two roofs that needed emergency repairs. Thanks to REI, my kids (and me!) won’t be stuck making up missed winter school day until July this year! Thank you REI for exceptional work and service.

It went very well. The team showed up on time and ready to work. They did a number of small items not included in the quote as a favor (like replacing boots on vent pipes, fixing a small area etc). The cleaned up nicely. Could not have asked for anything better.

Glenn Hall, Taylor and his crew has been excellent. Glenn has been extremely professional and patient with us on explaining the details, inspection of the old roof and provided guidance on the new replacement. Taylor and his crew were prompt and professional on the day of the roof work. The men worked very diligently and completed the scope of work on time. Everyone on site were very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend REI for any roof work and will definitely work with them again if/when I need siding replaced. Thank you REI.

We had the rubber roof on our triple-decker replaced in April after we discovered a major leak in January. REI fixed the leak the day after I called. Our project manager was Jake. I appreciated the professionalism of the entire crew and the quality of their work. Great communication from beginning to end. Jake thoroughly explained all steps of the process, the choice of materials and any potential hiccups. We knew exactly what to expect. He even offered to come one day after work to explain all details of the project to all three condo owners in the building (that was before we had signed the contract). Afterwards, REI cleaned up our yard perfectly and the entire project took place with minimal disturbance to the life of the three families in the building. I already recommended REI to friends and would definitely hire them again in the future.

Nick and his crew were fantastic. I've referred him to a few other people (including my parents) who were equally impressed by his professionalism and satisfied with his work. He was helpful educating me on the process of installing a new roof, and answered all of my questions straight forwardly. He was upfront about potential costs that some people (me) don't consider like rot and wood replacement. It was good to be prepared for that. Throughout the whole process I never felt like I was being up sold on anything. He was very responsive on text and phone calls when we communicated. 
He gave us a few instructions on what to expect on the day of the install which was very helpful. The dumpster arrived the night before the installation just like he had scheduled. His crew arrived early, but started work the minute he said they would. It was an impressive production. They were in and out after a very long day. Very nice guys who work really hard. The place was spotless as promised and the next morning the dumpster was carted off. It was like they were never there.
We couldn't recommend Nick and his crew more. He's not the cheapest guy in town, but you definitely get what you pay for. Top notch.

Job went so well we would hire REI for additional work without hesitation. Nick and crew are true professionals who took the time to make sure we were happy with the work. Nick even help us with the federal tax credit the solar skylights were eligible for!

Nick and REI were extremely responsive from the get go. Out of the 4 meetings and 3 proposals we got, Nick was far and away the first choice. He was on time - every time, never high pressure, and was more than willing to spend time going over all of the options and answering any question we had. Price was a little more than another for same materials, but I felt I could trust Nick and was willing to pay the difference.
When it came to the actual job, the entire crew was in and out swiftly. We have a large roof with some complexity and the team did an awesome job. They stripped, cleaned up the yard (we found exactly 2 nails) examined all the decking (none needed replacing), renailed the decking, installed ridge vents, laid down Certainteed DiamondDeck, and then finished off with a great looking set of Certainteed Landmark TL shingles. We've been through 6+ months now and not a single issue with rain, wind, and now, snow. A pleasure to business with and highly recommend them.

Nick is the nicest contractor I've ever contacted. I had a basement
ceiling leakage and contacted Nick to check the roof. He discussed with
me over the phone very patiently about what could be wrong. He was very
honest. We set up an appointment. But then something unexpected happen
to me and I had to cancel the appointment. Although no work was
performed, I'm very impressed about the way he treats the clients,
responsive, patient, and honest. Also the contract of repair and the
charge are very clear and professional, no black box.
