Lawn Fertilization and Treatment
My neighbor's 30' spruce fell on my house during the friday, 2/8 storm. I called several tree services and Green Tech came out first on Mon, 2/11 to give an estimate and onTue, 2/12 they removed the tree. Green Tech was prompt and efficient in removing a very large tree from my roof and did a good job.
I downgraded my report card to and quot;Band quot; because of (1) cost -- Green Tech charged $4,960 but other vendors offered $3000 for the job. My error was not to get 3 quotes before signing the Green Tech contract. (2) Green Tech's follow up on repairing damage to my neighbor's lawn from their heavy equipment. Their equipment left tracks in my neighbor's lawn due to muddy conditions and the weight of the equipment. Could they have still gotten the tree if the truck was on the asphalt? Green Tech's owner promised to come out in the Spring to put down loam and seed on what he called and quot;divotsand quot; and I called and quot;tire tracks.and quot; I asked them to put in an email that they will return so that I have a paper trail. I didn't send the payment check until I got the their email on 2/22. Green Tech did return in the spring, but after my neighbor called them several times to remind them about it. Good tree service, high price, and slow response on repairing lawn damaged by heavy equipment.

Green Tech arrived with all machinery, a bucket man and a groundsman. They started by delimbing the trees around the powerlines in small pieces, bit by bit, safely in a controlled manner. I was very impressed with their technical skills and safety protocols. The groundsman removed the branches out of the way and assisted the bucket man with ropes for swing cuts.
After all trees were down, they chipped the brush into a large towable chipper. Afterwards they grinded the stump bases very low below the ground.
