From my first phone call to the finished job everything went very smoothly.
They arrived at the time they said they would and finished the job within the time frame stated. When the installer and his helper left everything was clean. They vacuumed the rug and it was if they were never here except for brand new rug.
I would not hesitate to have them do another job.

It was fine. The installers were neat and cordial, and the company's prices were reasonable.

I'll break this into three events- pre-sales, installation and post installation: Pre-Sales- The sales rep was punctual. He came into my home and measured my basement and brought samples, He seemed very knowledgeable about the products he was selling. I do have two issues. 1) He kept referring to my husband and asking for his opinion. What is this, the 1950's? It was weird and off putting. 2) I have cove baseboards that are painted in my basement. He asked me if we were going to remove them before installation. I said 'I wasn't planning on it. Why, is it a problem?' He said "No. No problem". That should have been a red flag. Installation- Again, the guys were on time. They came in and first installed the padding. One of the guys came upstairs and informed me that when they install the carpet, my existing baseboards "might get a little scratched". Well, the carpet looks great, but let's face it, Kent's didn't manufacture the carpet so you don't get a pat on the back for that. My baseboards were destroyed. They look awful. 'a little scratched' is the understatement of the year. Post Installation- I called Kent's to make them aware of the situation. I spoke with the installation manager who was extremely rude and condescending. He berated me for expecting different when I had such 'cheap baseboards'. First of all, they are MY cheap baseboards. Secondly, the sales rep clearly knew this would be a problem. He should have disclosed what would happen. I'm sure he didn't because he did not want his sale delayed. The thing that gets me is that yes, they weren't the greatest baseboards in the world, but I was carpeting my basement so it would look better, and now it looks worse. I am going to have to hire a handyman to replace all the boards. After much arm twisting, they did give me new cove baseboards and offered to install it for $75. Um, I paid over $400 in installation fees, you made a mess, and now you want me to give you more money. Keep dreaming. I would not recommend Kent's because of their lack of professionalism and customer service.

The sales was good, not great. When I asked questions, the sales person pointed me in various directions and to various samples and answered my questions well. But if I didn't ask, I didn't get much help. The measuring was done very quickly after I selected the carpet. It was a special order carpet and I was told that it would be installed within three weeks. After three weeks went by, I called. The sales person researched the order and discovered that the carpet manufacturer didn't have it in stock and had to make it, which would take another two weeks. That was fine, but I should have been told that without having to follow up. The installation was superb. The installer was friendly, professional, and very skilled.

Went to Kent's in Rockland and met with a professional sales person who spent a considerable amount of time with me and discussed pros and cons of different carpet brands for my needs. I was allowed to take home a lot of carpet swatches and samples. An estimator came to my house and measured. I picked a carpet out and installation happened a week later. The installers came and installed the carpet in my basement and garage entrance way. They showed up early. I was probably the first job order of the day. They did a great job installing and the carpet looks great.

I went to Kent's with the intention of replacing some carpet and redoing some very old floors in my kitchen and bath. I also suspected that there was some hardwood under my bedroom carpeting. The salesman Chris, came to my house and was very helpful in making recommendations, including cost cutting ones. I felt like I had a partner in the process. We sealed the deal and then the installers came to do the carpet and the bedrooms on one day and a second installer came to do the vinyl the following day. This took a little longer than expected, but the installer was meticulous. Overall a good experience.

I WAS VERY UNSURE OF WHAT I WANTED FOR CARPETING AND ON MY FIRST VISIT TO THE STORE, I GOT HELP RIGHT AWAY. A SALES REP AGREED TO COME TO MY HOME WITH SAMPLES I HAD CHOSEN. HE MADE SUGGESTIONS AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE INSTALLERS WERE ALSO VERY ACCOMMODATING.

WE DID HAVE A COUPLE OF PROBLEMS AFTER THE INITIAL INSTALLATION BUT FOUND THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT DEPARTMENT TO BE VERY HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE.
