it went very well. Dennis showed up when he said he would, He finished on time. Dennis is very knowledgable, easy to work with and he did a great job with no issues or surprises. Dennis had a laborer working with him and I heard Dennis direct the laborer on the safest way to tasks. It was comforting to know that he wasn't cutting corners and had our safety in mind. He may not be the cheapest choice but the quality and peace of mind knowing the job was done right are worth price.

I discovered a corroding electrical box in my home that needed sooner than later attention from an electrician. Not knowing what potential problems could result, I was feeling a bit panicked. No one I knew had a recommendation for an electrician. I turned to Angie’s list and based on the positive reviews here I contacted Dennis. I was immediately impressed. He answered the phone, was upfront about potential repairs and costs, and came when stated a few hours later. It was such a relief to have this problem solved in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Dennis/Advanced Electrical, is a rare find.

Dennis did great work. The work was done quickly and Dennis was very easy to get a hold of. We had an issue after work was completed and he responded right away to my texts and come right down to fix things for us. I would hire him again.

For some reason, I have been struggling to find a reliable electrician. Thankfully, I managed to stumble upon Dennis and Mike! Working with them has been great. I had a list of electrical projects that I needed to get taken care of, and they have been plowing through the list. They have been super responsive, easy to schedule, and remarkably flexible. They explain what they are doing, the issues that invariably arise when dealing with an old house, and the options for how to work around those issues. After an long search, I think I have definitely found my electrician.

Dennis and Mike are a great team and work very hard at their jobs. Dennis made suggestions that made his cost a bit higher than other estimates that we got but it was well worth it given the improvements that were made.

Very well. After some initial communication problem, an appointment was set up. The electrician (Mike?) arrived on time; he was very pleasant and informative.Each time he came across a safety issue,he brought it to my attention as well as giving me electrical info. Dennis is a wonderful guy. He works with you to make it work. I had many delays and problems due to the guy who installed the pool. Dennis was ALWAYS nice and respectful and dealt with issues well. He updated my service last year and that is why I called him again and will use Advanced Electric exclusively. It's good to know there are still some that do the right thing. Dennis is one of them.

In addition to a number of other contractors, we reached out the Dennis a few weeks ago with the prospect of some electrical work. At this point in the process I put a high degree of weighing on communication. This is one of the factors that separated Dennis from the other top performing contractors we contacted. After this point he continued to demonstrate his high levels of professionalism through his insights, punctuality and attention to detail. On the day of the work, he arrived on time with his colleague Michael. They did an exceptional job on what they committed to completing however beyond this they discovered a number of additional unsafe electrical hazards which they addressed on the same day. Our house was unsafe for our family, and he made it safe. If it wasn’t for his knowledge this may not have been noticed, and if he wasn’t fast, this may not have been done on the same day. We are very pleased with Dennis and would certainly hire him again.

Dennis is very responsive which is rare. He completed all work quickly and professionally. We forgot to buy lights but he went to home depot and picked up some for us. He did and excellent job. I will use advanced electrical again.

Very well. Advanced Electrical was prompt, courteous, got the work done quickly and did a quality job. The cost might seem high but it includes the cost of the bathroom light fixture.

This is an old house where I wanted the wiring to be safe, but not upgraded if not necessary. Dennis was punctual, efficient, good at explaining the work, and good at not doing unnecessary fixes. Thanks!

He was on time and was able to move my thermostat about 3 feet on the same wall. All in all took about 35 minutes and stuck to the quotes rate he gave beforehand.

We purchased an older home and called Dennis to bring the house up to speed with the 21st century.  He came and provided an estimate the next day.  He pointed out the same concerns the home inspector saw and a lot more other things that were major risk areas and potentially unsafe.  This is really important to us since we have 3 children and we knew the house was not equipped with modern day living in mind.  The work needed to be done within a certain time period since we had other contractors lined up as well, and the electrical had to be completed first.  Dennis was prompt and professional and completed the job within the projected time.  He provided sound advice and recommended things that made sense, he wasn't just trying to add to the invoice.  He was also surprisingly prompt and responsive compared to other contractors we've worked with, an added bonus when working with Dennis.  Overall we are extremely satisfied with the work that was performed and will call Dennis back for any other electrical needs we may have in the future.
