Leslie (office) was extremely helpful in setting up an appointment with our schedule. Carl (plumber) was skilled, prompt and very thorough. He answered all our questions and fixed our plumbing issues in one visit. I would hire them in an instant. They were a great company.

They were prompt, professional, explained the options, gave a better quote than a previous one I received and finished the job quickly.

The company was very responsive.  We called early the next morning and the company had a plumber at our home the very same day.  In order to repair the pipe, Carl had to rip out a built in book case.  He did that with enough care and attention so that the book case should be able to be put back with only minor patching...a plus.  He also had to cut a portion of the ceiling to get at the water pipe which was a messy process. Carl cleaned up after he repaired the pipe and removed all excised ceiling and insulation materials.   He also took time to talk with us about how we can avoid this happening again in the future.  We highly recommend Schneider Plumbing.

I have used Schneider for years. They are reliable on all plumbing and heating problems. About five years ago I had them replace a steam boiler and the owner, Bob, was far more knowledgeable than competitors. Price was reasonable, job was done correctly, and annual service has occurred reliably ever since, without problems. I think they do great work at a reasonable price.

Prompt, efficient, neat, thorough, courteous, fairly priced.

They were very good to work with. I have enjoyed their follow-up with problems that have come up over the years. They did the work 10 years ago, but they have an excellent person who is their emergency person. His name is Carol and he comes out and I know that he will always take care of any problems.

We had used Schneider's in the past and found the plumber to be knowledgeable.
This time, we haven't even had contact with a plumber! We have a leak and got an appointment with more than a two week wait. The day before the appointment, they called to see if the plumber could come later as we had scheduled an 8:00 am appt and his next call wasn't until later in the day. We had changed our work schedules to be available for this appt so we told the answering service we could not change the time.
On the day of the appt, we got a call canceling it saying there had been an emergency they needed to get to.
We rescheduled for a week later (yesterday) for 2:30 pm. They called on the same day to cancel this appt, again, due to an emergency.
I joined Angie's List today to find another plumber.

Phone analyst friendly, helpful, worked us in, between existing work orders, and gave good advice on shutting down necessary components until the repair. 
Carl arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. 
He identified the problem clearly and correctly. 
He fixed the problem quickly, efficiently, gave pertinent and helpful follow-up advice.

I used Schneider in the past and was somewhat satisfied so when we were remolding our kitchen we called them for the plumbing. We had a Scheduled appointment in May 2011 however the company cancelled it the day before due to an Emergency. At this point our entire kitchen was completed except for running water and drains. The appointment was rescheduled for June 10th at noon. The Plumber showed up at 3:30pm and said he probably wouldn't have time to complete the entire install since it was so late in the day. After he unloaded his equipment and barely started drilling some holes he received a call from the office and said he had to respond to an emergency call for someones toilet that wasn't working. I was in shock at this point since they had cancelled the first scheduled apointment due to an emergency and the company charges from the time they leave their business. The plumber said they would call to reschedule. They called and said they could set something up for next week. I had promised my wife running water by the weekend so I said forget it and I would find someone else. I received a bill from Schneiders for their hour drive plus the 15 minutes they were at the house of which 10 minutes was getting the tools out of the truck. I paid the bill just to be done with them because they kept calling me right after they billed me. The work they did in the past had to be fixed also because two of their fittings leaked.
**Please be aware that they will charge you an hour minimum to come to the house even if they get called off the job for another job.  You will keep paying the 1 hour minimum every time they come back.  And they don't warranty their work.  We had a valve leak the first time we tried to use it and the person who replaced it said it was a defective valve so he took the valve with him.  They billed us and said it was our fault for leaving water in the lines over winter.  we never turned on this particular valve and the piping and valve are in a heated space.

We have been impressed with their professionalism.  They seem honest and friendly; responsive and punctual.
They charge $75./hour and if they only spend a half hour, that's what they charge for, so we feel that we get our money's worth.

We had quality installation for new addtion 2004 and really good service on special calls (not caused by problems in new installations).

Circuit board failed unexpectedly. Technician responded promptly to an emergency call.

They are very nice.  They are very reasonable and quick to respond.   

They are fine and they've done everything I've asked them to do. They?ve been pretty punctual, they haven?t made too much of a mess, and they are punctual. I don't have any complaints.

They have always treated me well. I have dealt with them for 30 years. When I have a problem they come to my rescue really fast. I work for general contractors in business so I think they help me quickly because of my connections for them.

Bob at Schneider Plumbing & Heating and his workers were extremely knowledgeable about older steam heating systems as well as current technology. I recommend them highly without any reservations.
