I could not be more pleased with the products and services I received from Northeast Heating & Cooling. They are the BEST. I had ordered a replacement Trane furnace from the company, who had scheduled to install it on June 22nd. A week beforehand, my central air conditioning system also died, so the guys tried to fix it when they arrived to install the furnace. When they realized that repairing the air conditioning system was not possible, the owner Rick dropped everything he was doing to drive to my house to size and recommend an appropriate replacement unit. Then he personally drove to the warehouse to pick up the unit and deliver to my home, where his crew installed both furnace and air conditioner that day. The team did not leave until my new systems were installed, tested and operating correctly. They also removed all the debris and left my cellar cleaner than they found it.
I was absolutely delighted with this company's thoughtfulness, professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. They are a first-class operation and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new HVAC system.
My husband and I noticed a bad smell coming from the heat registers and we called and left a message, Their response was very fast. They diagnosed a failed blower due a part burn out. They set things up so we had heat while blower was on order. Then we had another furnace flare up. The company responded immediately again. The owner actually drove a good distance to the part facility. He picked it up himself and then drove back and installed along with his employee.
Nutshell version: Northeast Heating and Cooling are superb professionals. They know what they are doing and they are willing and able to deliver high quality customer service, something mediocre companies tend top be clueless about.
My husband and I recommend them without reservation.

Details:
1. The technician recommended changing a $25 part which I authorized.
2. Cleaned inside of the furnace.
3. Checked and verified the furnace output.
4. 30-45 min duration.
5. The technician gave a report on the changes as well.
It was a no hassle visit.
Thank you Northeast Heating and Cooling.
I then did a search on Angie's List for some nearby heating companies. I found Northeast Heating & Cooling nearby in Haverhill (within 10 miles of my home), which had an A listing. I also read a number of the reviews. I called on Sunday and was able to reach Rich. I told him I thought it might be the pilot light heat sensor (thermocouple). He agreed, but indicated it could also be something in the control unit, and that in any case he may not be able to get the parts on a Sunday. I asked if they could send someone on Monday morning, and he indicated that I should call the office on Monday at 8 AM and they should be able to get someone out quickly. I did so, and Rich indicated they could get someone here by 9 AM. He called back shortly to tell me they could get someone here by 8:30 AM.
Kalen, the technician, was here on time (actually before I got there, as we has stayed overnight at our daughter's house). He quickly went to work, and his testing showed it was indeed the pilot light heat sensor (thermocouple), but that he didn't have one in his truck, so he'd have to pick up the part nearby. He also noticed a leak on one of the zone pumps and said he'd pick up gaskets and new bolts and nuts for it. He indicated that he'd have to drain and recharge the system as well. He got the part quickly and finished the overall repair within about 3 hours. Kalen started the system and verified that the two zones were working properly and that heat was flowing to both. I had asked about a senior discount for the work, and he incorporated that into the bill. The total bill for the work was ~$346. I was very pleased with Kalen and the work he did. He was pleasant and helpful, and I was able to put the bill on my credit card. Overall, I was very happy with Northeast's work and would certainly use them again.
"I am sorry you feel that way. The technician that was at you home has been with us for a few years and is very knowledgeable. I you weren't happy I wish you would have given us to chance to make you feel comfortable. If you would like we can send another technician out there and perform the maintenance. As we are a small company we do value our customers experience and wish it be a pleasant one. Please feel free to contact the office to set a new appointment. Thank you"
