I could not be more pleased with the products and services I received from Northeast Heating & Cooling. They are the BEST. I had ordered a replacement Trane furnace from the company, who had scheduled to install it on June 22nd. A week beforehand, my central air conditioning system also died, so the guys tried to fix it when they arrived to install the furnace. When they realized that repairing the air conditioning system was not possible, the owner Rick dropped everything he was doing to drive to my house to size and recommend an appropriate replacement unit. Then he personally drove to the warehouse to pick up the unit and deliver to my home, where his crew installed both furnace and air conditioner that day. The team did not leave until my new systems were installed, tested and operating correctly. They also removed all the debris and left my cellar cleaner than they found it.
I was absolutely delighted with this company's thoughtfulness, professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. They are a first-class operation and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new HVAC system.
"I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us. We try to accommodate our customers as best as we possibly can. If someone was rude to you on the phone I apologize for that. We schedule our appointment with the time window I'm sure we contacted you left a message on your phone stating the technician was available. Unfortunately we cannot have technicians idling for long periods of time waiting for someone to call us back. We most likely had multiple calls to do after your service call so by the time you contacted us back the technician has already en route to another customer. Unfortunately once a technician is committed to a service call we cannot cancel the call after it has been confirmed. I understand from your comment we tried to reschedule and accommodate you a you are not happy with that, again I apologize. If you would give us another chance am sure we would exceed your expectations."
My husband and I noticed a bad smell coming from the heat registers and we called and left a message, Their response was very fast. They diagnosed a failed blower due a part burn out. They set things up so we had heat while blower was on order. Then we had another furnace flare up. The company responded immediately again. The owner actually drove a good distance to the part facility. He picked it up himself and then drove back and installed along with his employee.
Nutshell version: Northeast Heating and Cooling are superb professionals. They know what they are doing and they are willing and able to deliver high quality customer service, something mediocre companies tend top be clueless about.

Can't fault a contractor for being busy. They gave me an honest answer and didn't waste my time coming out for a meeting only to find out later they couldn't meet my deadline.
Details:
1. The technician recommended changing a $25 part which I authorized.
2. Cleaned inside of the furnace.
3. Checked and verified the furnace output.
4. 30-45 min duration.
5. The technician gave a report on the changes as well.
It was a no hassle visit.

"I am sorry you feel that way but we give a fair price for all work performed. If I remember correctly you purchased a system on-line and now are having a problems with it and can't get it repaired. Maybe that is why it was less expensive. It wasn't take it or leave it but our company policy is we do not haggle as we do have over head that has to be covered to provide our customers with exceptional service. All of our service techs have background checks done we all have lettered vans, uniforms, continued training, insurance, and many other costs of doing busyness its not just a guy and a van. We are a full service company that will be there in the future."
"The reason for the refund is the customer uses oil for heat and Northeast does not service oil."
