About us

For over thirty-five years I have made my living as a piano technician; providing comprehensive tuning and repair services to customers in the Merrimack Valley area, Massachusetts' North Shore, and Southeastern New Hampshire. In addition to private homes my clients include many piano teachers, schools, libraries, churches, assisted living facilities and other institutions. My personal goal is to provide the highest quality of tuning and service possible to each piano, whether it is valuable concert grand, a modest spinet in the family room, or your grandmother's upright.

Description of Work: Mr. Johnston has tuned (multiple annual visits) and made repairs to our fussy Baldwin piano. When subsequently there was a problem with a part he had repaired, Mr. Johnston took are repaired the part at no cost - he stands behind his work. Knowledgeable, professional and a nice gentleman.

Description of Work: Mr. Johnson came to service 2 older pianos long overdue for tuning and care. He showed outstanding skill in evaluating and servicing the pianos, and quickly got them sounding great. He was pleasant, easy to work with, and positive. I am a professional piano teacher and am rather particular about this instrument; Gerry is always available in a tuning emergency and for locating the miscellaneous pencils that frequently find their way slipping between the fall board and the piano itself.
