This is the THIRD job I've scheduled with them - and if I could give them 6 stars I would. John and Sam were great; these folks are knowledgeable, it's easy to schedule with this company, and their prices are tough to beat. Don't be fooled by the Haverhill address - they do a TON of work in Nashua. LOVE these guys!

Climate zone recently installed a Lennox gas furnace in my home. The install went just as Andy described. Andy was very thorough and took the time to explain all the details to me. The install crew all wore masks, gloves and booties without me even asking. Very professional and polite! I would highly recommend Climate Zone to all my friends and family.

I called Climate Zone. Their price is 129 service call then they charge 150 to diagnose the problem total 279 in 30 min total no repair. This company doesn't know that SERVICE means diagnose the problem then charge the customer the repair cost or just 129 and leave but if you call them be aware 129 means the technician knocks and say hi. You want to know the problem I'll tell you but it will cost you additional fee. Don't CALL THEM if you do ask lots of questions even if it sounds stupid because Customer Service is not there. It seems The SALES DEPT DOES WHAT THEY NEED TO DO SALE IT. After that they don't care. Oh I got sold a Navient system by them 4 Years ago over 10grand and they where nice. Now after this if you are thinking of calling then ask questions and shop around or better Do It Yourself. They don't explain or tell you prices. They are just take advantage of the customer. Again stay away from them.
Response from Climate Zone
"When you reached out to us you set up a gas tune up for $198 minus $50 coupon. On arrival you told our tech the second floor is constantly running. The tech then gave you the option to either do the tune up and check the problem after the tune up or look into the issue of zone constantly running, you chose to have us diagnose it. We found when you moved your thermostat yourself you had pinched the wire's causing it to run the whole time. We charged $129 for the dispatch fee we also traced out the whole wire to pin point the problem for $150 he was on site for 45 minutes and you declined us fixing it and said you would do it yourself."

It was good but it was expensive. I wasn't happy because for less than 2 years later something broke from the heating unit.

"Our service tech have only been out to your home once on 2/272017 and the fire man switch was turned off. The service tech turned it back on and your system started back up. There was nothing broke on your unit."

WOW!! I was very impressed with the whole experience. We received estimates from three other companies and Climate Zone took the time to dig in and really assess the existing system. They made multiple trips to my home before submitting a proposed solution and estimate. They offered a solution to fix the existing duct work so the home would cool more efficiently. Their solution was more than the other estimates, but we choose them because of the option they provided. The project took three full days and the work crew was hard working, professional, and clean! We highly recommend Climate Zone.

Overall, I am very pleased with the work. The house had no central A/C, but already had three ducts on the first floor from a previous renovation. I didn't want to lose closet space on the second floor to add more first floor ducts, so they just did duct work for the second floor and hooked up to the first floor ducts. The system has two zones (upstairs and downstairs), which added about $5000 to the price if I remember correctly. The installation took two days, plus a service call on the third day (more on that later). There were five installers the first day, and three the second day. They put drop cloths on the stairs and some of the hallway, and were careful not to make a mess. They also cleaned up what little debris there was before they left each day. They asked if they could put some water bottles in my refrigerator, and I was happy to let them. The attic access in the house is through a trap door in a closet. They had to take the doors off of the bedroom and the closet to facilitate their work, but put both back on at the end of each day. When everything was installed and hooked up, they couldn't get the main thermostat to work. It was after office hours, so they arranged for a service tech to come out the next day. That tech arrived first thing in the morning, and the problem was fixed in about an hour. Everything is now working well.

Like many reviewers mentioned elsewhere (e.g.,www.yelp.com) my experience with Climate Zone was horrible. Actually they deserve a rating of -1 or lower!

I contracted Climate Zone (AKA Complete Comfort Systems) through The Home Depot for my home improvement project. The project they did was to REPLACE the existing oil fired heating system with all electrical HVAC,including a new water boiler. The HVAC system consists of two Mitsubishiductless units for the living room & basement, and a Lennox duct work system for the second floor.

At the time of signing the contract, the Climate Zonesales person confirmed that their so-called ?high efficiency? HVAC system(Mitsubishi and Lennox units) would work perfectly in inclement weather(common in Massachusetts) even at low freezing temps, to support the heating requirements of my house. They completed the work in June 2014. Int he following winter when the temp was low, especially after a snow, the units stopped working! Repeated attempts by Climate Zone technicians did not revive the system. And their techs said that these systems wouldn?t work in such low temps and required a secondary heating source, contrary to their sales person?s previous assertion. So I had to re-instate the old oil heat system to keep our house warm ? after paying a big amount to another company (to restore the oil system).

Thus the new system is now practically useless in winter, because we can?t depend on that, especially during lower temps and snow storms. Moreover the quality of their work, the installation process, the general design of the system, etc. was also very unsatisfactory: for e.g., in summer when one room was hot the other rooms were freezing or vice versa, because the location of the thermostat wasn't correct. The water boiler too had several issues after installation.

Thus their performance in general was very disappointing. Fast forward two years: finally after various negotiations at different levels, The Home Depot said they would raise the units by a few inches from the ground and install ?pan heaters? on the units, to resolve some of the issues ? ONLY IFI sign a complete release, i.e., acquitting them of all wrong doings! So to sum up, as suggested by many others, look for another company!!

Installation went good. As part of contract old furnace should be remove. As of today after a month, old furnace is still there with old pipe debris. I have call them couple of time still no response from them. I am very disappointed with the service. Inspection of new heater is also not done.

The sales rep (Bob) was punctual , well informed and professional with his inspection and estimate which he completed by the end of the visit. He also supplied me information necessary to apply for a no interest loan through Mass Save as well as a rebate for the furnace. He also kept in contact for the next couple of weeks while I procrastinated and attempted to get another estimate (which failed, but that's another story).
I finally decided to go with Climate Zone and called Bob back to confirm. He supplied me with the necessary info to apply for the no interest loan. There was a bit of confusion at first about what Bob thought was the correct info and what Mass Save wanted, but it was quickly worked out and I got the loan approved.
When I was ready to proceed, all it took was a call to the company office to set up the install appointment. The installation team arrived on time and ready to work. The installation proceeded smoothly, despite it being a 100+ year old house with a dirt cellar and limited access. They removed the old furnace and water heater and replaced with new units. There was some creative venting to be done, but it went without problems. The team cleaned up well and answered all questions that I had. They finished in one visit.
Immediately after the install, the company office sent me the necessary forms to apply for the rebate as well as a company to contact to remove the old oil tank.
