Cathal Daly Plumbing & Heating

I have hired Cathal on four separate occasions to do different plumbing jobs at my house. He has always been very prompt, organized and cleans up after himself as if he were never there. Most recently I needed a pipe off of our boiler to be replaced. Not only did he research the most inexpensive options for doing so, he actually met with the town inspector to make sure that the job he wanted to complete would be well within compliance. After fixing the boiler, he waited for the inspector to come out, for nearly an hour and a half sitting in our driveway, to come out to make sure there were no problems with the job. He is amazing with communication. At each step of the job, he let me know what was going on and what he was doing, including going to three different stores to get a pipe that my antiquated boiler needed. He was very concerned to make sure that my family was safe in my situation before it would have allowed carbon monoxide to spill into my home. He’s amazing!

I hired Cathal to replace an outdoor Spicket and to clean my furnace. Cathal is very unorganized and extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Cathal did a terrible job cleaning my furnace. I had to clean the mess that Cathal left behind when cleaning the furnace. I had to clean the trash in my backyard that Cathal left out there. Cathal told me he would reimburse me $50 for the work that he did not perform. Cathal did not reimburse me for the $50 and he took my plumbing tool tray.

Cathal was courteous and clean. He was able to come and fix our leaky pipe in a timely manner and he was reasonable priced! I will use him for all of our plumbing needs in the future and would recommend him to anyone!!
