I have been in touch with Kathy during the off-season for periodic rentals and she has been responsive and accommodating. Really happy with Beautiful Home of Cape Cod! I highly recommend them!
"Thank you for your glowing review. I'm glad we were able to meet your immediate need to prepare for guests. I look forward to working with you in the future."
I did not expect a team where each person had an hourly rate
it's a good concept if all workers are equal but that was not the case
one cleaner spent a very long time wiping a wall
another had one job, to clean one small bathroom which had a dirty mirror at the end
one young man was dusting using a feather duster which only swished dust in the air with no real cleaning
I had already washed and waxed the hardwood floors but the kitchen floor cleaning was a top priority
the job was not at all thorough there were stains and spots still present after they left
"I apologize that we have had poor communication about the Saturday turnover rental cleaning. I did email late on Friday with my apology for being unable to clean the next day due to illness among my workers. Knowing that the homeowners would be there, I hoped they would be able to take care of it themselves this time. On the day we cleaned, we knew the house had not had a spring cleaning, and some extra work needed to be done, particularly in the great room, which I showed the homeowner at the time. Assuming that we would be cleaning there in the future, I wanted to make sure that the homeowners knew about the broken lampshades, spills on upholstery, and stains on carpets, as well as showing them the cobwebs and bugs behind furniture and in corners that needed to be taken care of. I worked with my cleaner until I needed to attend to another job, leaving her to finish up. She and I had each worked 2 hours already and I made my best estimate of when she would be done, adding two more hours to the invoice. My cleaner called me later to inform me that the new tenants had arrived at 2:30 rather than 3:00, so she had quickly finished up and left. I made a note that we would owe the homeowner 1/2 hour of cleaning next time. I was assuming that a regular turnover cleaning going forward would take 3-4 hours. Due to the extreme heat, and the busyness of the season, I did not have a chance to communicate with the homeowner during the following week, but I was making my best effort to include his home on our Saturday schedule. When one of my cleaners informed me after 11 p.m. on Friday that he had a fever and would not be able to work the next day, I informed this new client by email about my inability to fit his home in this week, apologizing, and promising to inform him if I could fit the cleaning in the next Saturday. We performed quality work on short notice at a cost agreed on by the homeowners. I will plan to refund the 1/2 hour which we were overpaid if the homeowner chooses not to have us return."
"Thank you for you kind review of our work. It was a pleasure working with you, and we look forward to completing any other projects you send our way."
"Thanks for your generous and thorough review of our work. We look forward to a long, continuing relationship as we clean for you on a regular basis."
